Installing Stock CD Player
 

Is the stock cd player "plug and play" with the cassette player from cars that did not originally come with a cd player, or is the cassette player different?

The stock radio was made to accept a stock CD player no matter what model you have. You'll have no problems connecting the two (actually getting the radio out can be tricky though....read the "HOW TO" for some great info). A piece of advice: I've pulled an SVX radio twice and what I've noticed is that the radio antenna plugs (the two black ones that pull apart) are not always in the same spot. On my 95 they were under the carpet on the drivers side of the shifter assembly. On my 94, they were tucked behind the radio. Tricky!
