JDM engine trouble

Hey Guys and Gals,
I am getting ready to drop in my JDM engine into my 92 and noticed something. There is a small sensor that looks like a bolt with 2 wires coming out of it. It is mounted into the rear of the intake on the passenger side under the air intake, the problem is the new engine has no threads for the sensor. Any ideas?

Swap the intake

Thanks Beav, my brother came to the same deduction. Is it from a 96 possibly or is just because it's a JDM motor?

It doesn't really matter, does it? ;)

That would be the EGR temp sensor, that only the US version has. So as the ECU will be looking for it, best do as Beav says.:)

If you don't put it in, it will throw a CEL, with a 55 code. My hard-piped intake intake snorkus pressed against the sensor cable and wore through it, causing a CEL and code.
