White smoke on startup
 

I'm getting some white smoke from the tailpipes on startup. It is a pretty fair amount, but only does it on startup and not while driving even if I get on it really hard. Is this normal?

My teal once let loose a cloud of white smoke on startup not long after I bought it (after a fit of hard starting that was ultimately cured by a new coolant temp sensor), and my heart really sank because to my mind, white smoke equals coolant in a combustion chamber. But that was over 50,000 miles ago and I've had no hint of trouble, nor smoke, since. Never hit on an explanation, either. Good luck.

Ownbot I too used to get the white smoke on startup but that was a long time ago. About three or four years ago. I don't know why it stopped. It never became anything that affected normal performance. Good luck.
