my friend Nick and I are taking a 30-day cross-country roadtrip in August

we have no particular destination in mind, just a strong desire to see as much of the country in a month as we can. if anyone would like to get together for dinner or coffee, i'd be thrilled to stop by and say hello. let me know where and when, and i promise you'll get a phone call

Grand Canyons only a few hours away, you could
then go to San Diego, LA or even Vegas from here !!

By the looks of it, all you need to do is get a list of members and plot a course. You can have your own little meet marathon.

Yeah! You can sponge sleeping nights and meals from us all!! This trip can potentially be really cheap!!:D

heh, thanks for all the resonses, everyone. i always thought of the people here as a sort of "extended family" and now i see just how true that is..

i'm sure i'll visit many of you, and those of you gracious enough to extend an invitation to your homes will most likely be taken up on your offers. nick and i are well-behaved houseguests and get along very well with females aged 18-28 :) also, we're more than happy to pay for our stay with beer or perhaps a box of wine :D

we'll be travelling with a cellphone and a computer, so i'll be sure to send out pm's and collect phone numbers and approximate addresses. thanks again, you guys are like brothers to me. except those of you who are women, in which case you're sort of like brothers except you're more along the lines of a sister.. yeah..

I have to say I'm pretty jealous a cross country road trip sounds like alot of fun. I have been to europe a few times and have been up and down the east cost but haven't made an farther west than Chicago or New Orleans. Have fun man, take alot of pictures and good luck with the women age 18-28.
