Help please - question.
 

is the "DOOR" light switch located near the sunroof controls supposed to stay "up" when you push it (like the "SPOT" and "ROOM?" switches)? i mean, when you press it, should it click and latch in the depressed postion until you press it again? trying to track down an annoying short circuit, and this seemed odd. i'm gonna check out the vanity mirrors next. thanks for any help!

I think it is supposed to stay depressed, yes.

Neither does mine. I talk to it gently, and reassure it, and tell it what a great job it's doing, and before long, it is no longer depressed. :D

No, it doesn't stay clicked. The "room" & "spots" DO stay clicked.

ok, unfortunately for me, i think something might be pinched in the radio wiring. i'll have to pull it out tomorrow. the vanity mirror lights seem to be working OK, but today i had no radio, clock, instrument lights, spot or dome lights, and the keyless entry wasn't working. all fuses are OK. :mad: :mad: :mad:
