Before I break something..
could somebody tell me how to remove the front grill? I did a search and nothing came up so it's probably simple.. just want to make sure though, thanks.

use a needlenose pliers to pinch the tabs on the little clips behind the grill, then pull it forward, up and out

awesome thanks

I thought there were two or three tabs to use the pliers on...don't remember....
So have you decided to paint your grill? Platinum or gold....:D Bling |
In 1997 they went from 2 to 4 clips.

I have a 97 grill on my 92 and can't figure out where they would put an extra 2 clips. do you mean the bottom mount tabs? I have 2 tabs that just settle in to mounts on the base, and then the 2 clips on the backside that you need a pliers on to take out. |
That is the way it mounts. The other grill light uses 4 clips as well as the mounts on the bottom. :)

Too bad Subaru didn't pay more attention to the tranny as much as they did to the 97 grill, since they decided to "beef it up" with two extra clips:lol:
