how to paint a grill
just got my euro grill and was thinking of painting it myself.i have a fair amount of autobody experience from 25 years ago! i'm guessing a lot has changed. how do you prep these for painting? is it worth buying everything and having stuff left over as waste or better to let a pro handle it?any tips? thanks dennis

For something like this, probably let a pro do it. Most should do it for about $50-$75. Just get it done right the first time-ask a few that tried themselves first.

Re: how to paint a grill
You'll need a plastic prep, sealer, and base/clear. I used a 3 stage PPG plastic prep kit. First you scuff it with a special sponge with a liquid to eat away the mold from the plastic and make it easier to adhear the paint to, next I use thier plastic prep wipe lightly over the whole thing, then spray it with the adheasion promotor, then sealer, base, clear.
