Yeh... I think the majority went with, "It's not for me, but the execution is impressive."

IceBlade 05-09-2008 05:10 PM

I like it.

SilverSpear 05-09-2008 05:21 PM

Love the front end look, the idea behind the design... not too fan tho of the rear end (86' 300ZX look)

SubaruSVXCrazy 05-09-2008 08:54 PM

Yea, it reminded me of Tokyo Drift RX7. To lazy to go searching for that thread. :p

Speedklix 05-09-2008 09:16 PM

...new to me. There may be something horribly wrong with me, but I kindof like it :o some suspension and wheel mods could do wonders for its appearance.

Speedklix 05-09-2008 09:31 PM

would really like to see some inverted 08 Lexus LS exhaust tips on that thing too

I paraphrased <the posts on the previous thread>. Apologies.:o

I'm with It's just Eric on this one. Just too many little things make it look "out of place."

Good idea, I give them props for the effort put into being original, etc... but it just doesn't make the car look better, in my opinion. I like PARTS of it, like the front fenders, and the IDEA of the rear fenders.

Long story short: The body lines they invented just do not compliment the car at all.

SVeXy96 05-14-2008 03:57 PM

I don't like it.

+1 ... that makes me a sad panda..

black beast 05-18-2008 12:07 PM

I dont like the front end.. or the side skirts, but... I really do like the back end. I would buy a rear bumper that looked like that. yes it is very flashy, but IDK it looks cool. Over all yes eric you are right, lotta little things brought it down.

Ricochet 05-18-2008 03:22 PM

That looks ****ing horrible

Gotta agree even though the kit over all is bad the back end is pretty nice and can do w/o the little extra's that it has

greggbzz 05-22-2008 03:03 PM

Where are the body kits for volvo's and renault fuego's?

Why they always got to try and make a beautiful car "better".

I say start with something FUGLY.

SmashedGlass 05-22-2008 08:20 PM

My 2 pennies say.........

..........it's horrible. I'm a fan of cleaner lines and this kit just destroys them on the SVX. Much like 95% of the cheap fiberglass kits the *infected-by-a-certain-hollywood-film-franchise* fans slap onto anything with wheels, regardless of how it looks. or the fact the donor vehicle is NOT a sporting car in the least ;) ahhhhhhhhh, now wouldn't it be nice if someone like Origin Lab did a kit for us? (<---putting down the crack pipe now)

IMHO, I think all we really need is a nice, subtle lip and rear apron treatment.

ridered777 05-25-2008 07:54 AM

Origin Lab?

http://vip.origin-lab.com/ <-- Hahahahahaha.:lol::lol:

Yes, they do make kits for cars. Still very ricey though. The vans I at least got a kick out of.

SmashedGlass 05-25-2008 09:22 PM

lolz

i see what you mean going to that portion of Origin. but i was thinking more along the lines of what they've done for the SC300/400, S13/14, etc. try here:

www.origin-lab.com

but of course, it's a when pigs fly type of dream, as no one will go to the trouble for such a niche vehicle.

ridered777 05-26-2008 12:29 AM

I saw that site also.

Still too silly looking. The only thing even remotely attractive is the Z33, "Urban Line" (350Z to us in the US).

http://www.origin-lab.com/aerokit/urban/Z33F.jpg
http://www.origin-lab.com/aerokit/urban/Z33R.jpg

And even that is a bit extreme for my tastes. I like the 2 piece front splitters on the SVX, just need to find a side skirt and rear end option I like...

SmashedGlass 05-26-2008 11:25 AM

ingenuity to the rescue!

i've got it......lots of cardboard, duct-tape, and water-based paint. any kind of kit you want! :D
