I have sold out...
I bought an STi last year.
garaged the svx after ripping the tranny out.
92 bordeau
if anyone wants it: free (to who will pick it up.)
It has no Trany.
The steering colem & seat exhaust bla bla
Almost ready for the 5 spd but...baby on the way and need the space.
flatbed her outahere for nothin' ...but a good home.
She was running as of 2 years ago when she was garaged.
I think she has 140 on her?
all glass blabla small dent rear right side very small...idiot can't park.
She is dusty, but...
I am not going to part her sooo...
If no one replies she will be donated.

Just for calarification, it is a Claret, and not a Bordeaux. :)

I or Young Tom will be happy to pick it up and make it live again!
My # is 301-707-3437.
Thank you
Original Tom.

I have an extremely busy schedule. I work most days very late.
My only day off is Fridays
what should I do on my end. I figured throw the wheels and steering colemn back on? anything else? The seat and center console are out.
Are you gonna flatbed it or something else?

benebob 06-26-2007 08:03 PM

Tom if you'd need my truck and or our trailer for pick up just give a shout. The winch is gone though so you'd have to come-along-it up.

TomsSVX 06-27-2007 01:35 AM

I'd come up with a dolly... I'd imagine the driveshaft is out too?? If so, just need wheels on it. Fridays are tough for me but I might be able to find someone to make the run for me

Tom

consume 06-27-2007 08:14 AM

Ya the muffler/drive shafts all that is out...
are you saying I don't need to put the steering colemn on?
just the wheels?

consume 06-27-2007 11:43 AM

btw...getting that trany out was HELL!!! so...prob almost halfway to 5mt project.
The interior is perfect. all the windows work. The sunroof works on it's own (most of the time.) . No rust. It always had a thump thump from rear when turning with some gas...I was thinking rear diff...kill two birds and fix it when putting in 5mt.
everything else is stock. Tommorrow I'm putting wheels brakes on. A mech. did the work(nice guy nextdoor), I am not. You guys should walk me through anything else.
It's been well kept. It has mobil 1 in the engine since I bought it. It's been garaged and not started for a while.

TomsSVX 06-27-2007 09:14 PM

as long as I can load it onto a dolley, I don't need the steering column in... If we need to manuver the car... I will need the column in. I am working on a time when I can get up there to pick it up

Tom

consume 06-29-2007 02:37 PM

I'm putting wheels on now. I assume you don't need brakes...It doesn't have pedals. I'm leaving them tied...can't find my c clamp:mad:
the car prob does need the colemn in:(
tell me the size of the dolly though because if the dolly can get into the back yard we're golden.

consume 06-29-2007 07:53 PM

wheels on...I'm going to take a picture to see if you think you can't get it outa there. All that needs to be done is pull the truck up to the garage square.

TomsSVX 07-01-2007 12:25 AM

I have a really tough time getting any time off on Fridays... Any chance we could do this on a tues or a Monday?? I can come at any hour on these days... Let me know... you have my #

Tom

consume 07-01-2007 03:01 PM

Monday morning befor 2:00pm or Tue after 7:00pm fits my schedule. If not: I have to take the day off.
