Another SVX Trike

3 Attachment(s)
I was over at Liberty Subaru the other day and picked up these photos. This is not as pretty as ones posted by eaglekids in the MOD section. This version does have a little more engine compartment cooling:D
Peace,
John

I bet it'll do a 1/4 standing on it's "wheelie" wheel....and probably in the 10 second range...

Is the right side one on backwards? The angle's tough to tell; I think it might be right! :eek:

I would like to see it with "quick change" Oab au (Harvey) developed for the auto trans. That "quick change" gear change added about 120 hp right around 35 mph to the stock set-up.

Now that is interesting. I wonder how much money these people put into these, lol.

I met the guy who built that, and bought the windshield from his donor car. :)

No offense meant to the builder, but probably not too much. My guess is that he's a welder or machinist or works somewhere where scraps of steel are easy to come by.

I'm sure there's a boat load of time put into it, and more skill than I can imagine, but cost wise it could probably be done for $1k???

Sorry but..............:barf::barf::barf:

............I despise trikes.

If you want to ride a motorbike buy a motorbike, the only advantage a trike has is that it doesn't fall over if you don't put down the stand. which is heavily outweighed by the disadvantage of crap handling (the original doner car would probably corner better on three wheels)

If you want that wind-in-the-hair and bugs-in-the-teeth experience with a Subaru, trust us Kiwis to sort it. :rolleyes:

Obviously you've never driven a Reliant, an MP3 (which handles like it is on rails) or a 30s Morgan Trike which would've outhandled virtually anything else made in the day. Granted these are what is refered to by the motorcycle based trike community as "reverse" trikes but they're trikes non the less.

Only bike trikes I can stand are ones where the rider lacks all their body parts or are handicapped in so other way. Then again, I also despise bikes that weigh more than 2x the rider weight too.:lol:
