10 Reasons a Gun Better Than a Woman

#10. You can trade an old 44 for a new 22.

#9. You can keep one gun at home and have another for when you're on the road.

#8. If you admire a friend's gun and tell him so, he will probably let you try it out a few times.

#7. Your primary gun doesn't mind if you keep another gun for a backup.

#6. Your gun will stay with you even if you run out of ammo.

#5. A gun doesn't take up a lot of closet space.

#4. Guns function normally every day of the month.

#3. A gun doesn't ask, "Do these new grips make me look fat?"

#2. A gun doesn't mind if you go to sleep after you use it.

And the number one reason a gun is favored over a woman....

#1. YOU CAN BUY A SILENCER FOR A GUN

Why SVX are better than Men

Why SVX are Better Than Men!

SVX don't work late.

Your SVX stays as clean as you want it to.

SVX don't have parents or kids.

SVX don't get overweight.

You can check out the guy who works on your SVX.

Your SVX always has time for you.

SVX don't complain and don't ride away from you when the road gets rough.

SVX don't watch TV.

SVX don't snore.

SVX don't leave a mess in the kitchen or bathroom.

SVX never argue, you are always right.

SVX never wake you up in the middle of the night, for any reason.

SVX never try to show you off to their friends.

SVX don't come home drunk after a night out with its buddies.

SVX don't sneak around with other SVX.

SVX don't care what you look like, or what your age is.

SVX don't care and don't comment about what you spend your money on.

When you go driving, your SVX doesn't care if other cars are bigger or better.

SVX don't care about their performance.

:D

That cucumber "theory" has been around since before I was a teenager. Got a birthday card with it on my 16th birthday from a mischevious cousin.

Nowadays I have become a very traditional gal, and subscribe to the "Husband Theory" :p

The only time Hubby reads anything here is when he's looking over my shoulder. Amazing how I'm always reading the Technical Q&A posts when he's around  ;) :D

Hmm.... do I own one? Err.... I should counter with "can you read?" :) but instead I'll reply this way:

The key word there was "overweight". My SVX hasn't gained any weight at all since we bought it quite a few years ago. Many men, however .... :p :D

Also, when people start putting in 60 watt speakers and 250 amps. Another thing is like the saying goes it is not good to have too much of something, usually.

I carry a floor jack in my car....does that count as my car being overweight?

Reasons why women are better than guns:

Blow jobs.

I dont think i need anymore reasons.

More SVX Vs. Men reasons
SVX goes the right speed all the time.
SVX doesnt need to be told 'a little to the left'
SVX doesnt need to be told 'no, my left.'
SVX always puts a smile on my face
SVX never embarrasses me in public
SVX doesnt wear THAT shirt in front of my parents
SVX showers regularly
SVX never sticks of BO
I never question why i have an SVX

Sounds to me like maybe you need to change boyfriends???? You think? :) :p

Lee

Royal Tiger 05-11-2006 06:15 PM

I'm hoping to find some tan seats, then the boyfriend won't matter! :D

(see the Rasheem thread in General SVX)

DreamingOfSpeed 05-11-2006 06:44 PM

Nope no need for a new boyfriend. I'm done shopping. He doesnt do 90% of those things the rejects of the past were my muse for them. But who knows how much a set of tan suede seats in a Laguna Blue SVX (or a repainted sky blue with black top) would change my mind. :D (i love him more than my car in reality. But only by a slight margin)

Royal Tiger 05-11-2006 06:53 PM

If I get my beloved 951, the wife won't like her new ranking in the house. Of course I'm probably 3rd on her list after her German Shepard and our kids.

A dog that smells bad, growles at you, and won't listen to you,

A cat that stays out all night, and offers no explination, and ignores you.

And a 75 Dodge truck that won't start, if a dog pees on the wheel. Then you will have it all!!

You might not live to 125 years, but it will FEEL like you did!!!

If you have a Laguna Blue, you need the gray and blue seats for sale on Ebay. Well unless you have tan interior, but I don't think blues have the tan. Do they?

Lee

DreamingOfSpeed 05-14-2006 09:13 AM

I put the grey suede and leather seats on my watch list for my pearlie but i think i missed the auction. I hope they may lagunas with tan interiors. Since it would be a ***** to do a complete interior swap (My brother is currently piecing together a grey RX7 interior to replace his moldy tan one. Its not something i want to try!)

Royal Tiger 05-15-2006 03:34 AM

I have never heard of or seen a Laguna blue with the tan interior. You'd have to swap one in.

lhopp77 05-15-2006 10:21 AM

Not Positive

My preliminary research indicates that all Laguna Blue and even Pearlies come in gray interiors for all models including the LSi. But a blue would look good with these seats being sold on Ebay now. At least in my opinion. Price will probably be good too.
