Black 97 Lsi

My black, 97 Lsi has been treated like a child since I bought her in October 2002. 80% of her life has been serviced at Subaru Santa Cruz for everything from oil changes to her most recent repair which included oil seals, water pump, all belts, power steering pump, and more. All parts ever used have been Subaru OEM. I have records from every little thing that I ever had fixed, maintained, or purchased for her. At 95K miles there is an average of 7,300 miles per year. I've put 50K miles on her since I bought her in 2003 (avg 7.1K per year). Next weekend I will have the smog passed, and registration renewed until Oct 2011.

I'd prefer this car go to someone who appreciates it, so I'd like to try and sell through here instead of posting on craigslist. As long as you're willing to get bluebook or above, I'll entertain the offer. She just sits in my garage these days and I rarely bring her out, so I'd like to be able to let someone else enjoy having it (preferrably an SVX fan!).

The car also comes with a logo'd custom car cover, and bra. The stock hood emblem has also been replaced with the Alcyone one. A high flow air filter has replaced the stock one, and I installed a battery disconnect for when the car is not used much.

Feel free to email me direct as well at wesand22@gmail.com

I saw in another thread that you might be moving - when do you think that will be? I'm mulling it over in my head. My SVX is a '94 with similar mileage and good condition - trying to figure out what I would do with two good condition SVXi:lol:

Do you know if the car has been in any accidents? Have you had (or have) any problems with it? Has it always been a southwestern car?

Good questions... Nope, never been in an accident. I picked the car up in 2003 from the second owner in Ohio. Since then it has been in the Bay Area and only briefly down here in SoCal.

Unfortunately my move will come faster than I think. It turns out I already had to put my condo up for sale, so I'm going to need to sell the car quicker than I thought.

**Price Revision**

Unfortunately my plans to move got accelerated. While I would be dumb to part with this car at a certain price level (and I won't), I will consider some offers that have to dip below blue book... :(

You know... I really don't remember. I got them almost 7 years ago. I got most of my parts from Dale at Motorsport Warehouse in AZ, but I'm not positive I got these from him.

Sorry... :o

Ok, so... I'm looking for the cash, not another car, but if you're serious, why not just sell the GT for even trade in value, buy mine, and pocket the extra $$$?

I'd actually be interested in the trade because I could probably get more from selling the GT than selling the SVX!

Sad days when a rare, beautiful car, can't climb in value...

Re: Black 97 Lsi

How much do you want for the car? I have owned 3 in the past - a '94 Bordeaux Pearl LSi (my favorite), a '96 Laguna Blue L (never liked the car), and a '97 Barcelona Red LSi (sorry I sold it). Please let me know by private email as I do not access this web page as often as I would like. The blue book value is difficult to get because of the age of the car. People looking for the value of such a car through KBB and NADA don't deserve to own it. Let me know when you get a chance. I have not owned an SVX since I sold the '97 in Nov 06. Would love to have another.

Wow, I'd pick this up if I could afford another car at the moment... I really want another SVX... And someday I'll probably end up convincing Earl to sell me one of his (since it might be a few years from now) :(
