I went to the passenger side to find the VIN (only thing on the small sticker) but couldn't find Mfg. date or any other info on either door and it doesn't list the MFG. date on the plate under the hood. Anywhere else I can locate it?

Did you check on the drivers side plate? That is where the VIN and Manufacture Date is. Yours is 12/93 - it falls between others that have the same date. :)

It is LHD, I wanted to buy that burgundy a year ago (a thread somewhere here), but I thought someone from Pakistan bought it and took it with him.

Never knew that my friend got it instead...

Sorry Earl, his car turned out to be at 160,000 kms and not 100,000. He sent me a pic of his car at 100,000 first, that was 4~5 years ago.

Please if you can rectify this error.

I am trying to get in touch with him concerning the other car. He is not replying though.

Here's the car I've had since September last year. I bought it from a girl in Edmonton, Alberta who hadn't had it long and didn't know much about it, but the Carfax showed only one owner before her and then a trade to a dealer.

Any further thoughts on a good shop to fix it within reasonable distnace, and/or transport to SVXfiles, and/or trade?? PM me on this if you would. Thanks!!

Mine has heated seats :). Essential for a cold Canadian winter morning. Even though I use an engine block heater when it's cold, the leather seats can freeze your b**ls off on a cold morning.

Canandian cars were delivered with Daytime Running Lights.

SFAIK the US cars did not come with this Volvo-like feature. UK cars certainly did not have it.

Was up yall!!new to subaru and SVX...I have always been a american car owner...A friend had a impreza....I found a 94 SVX at my car lot...80,000 real miles for 2000,US!!!i bought it about 3months ago and it is the best car i have ever owned!!!i LOVE IT!!!!hope i'm not rambling on...its laguna blue...made in 10/93...flawless interior...give ya the vin later...been waitn...to post...i done the power mode switch right off the bat!!!:confused:
