Number of people attending, not number of SVXs. We had a couple vehicles that weren't SVXs show up last year. No matter...it is going to be a real blast this year.

Harry - I am so sorry you won't be able to be there this year. We will miss your lack of attendance. :(

Sooo, after owning my SVX for what, like 6 years now... I will finally be able to attend a Reading meet.

Why you ask? Well, I recently moved from IL to a town about an hour away from Reading ;-)

And now I know that it's actually pronounced red-ing. Silly pennsylvanians.

I would really like to drive/ at least ride in a few of the manual conversions to see if it's something worth the effort to do... I had always promised myself that I'd do it if I ever burned through my auto, but 100K miles and a HELL of a lot of abuse and it's still going strong.

But I can assure you I will be thinking about Reading!! And I just KNOW all will be having a fine time with the surprises ;) that are in store for this year. Actually, a fine time would be had (and have been had) regardless. This is clearly one of the best get-togethers ever. Great people, great time! I'll miss ya'll greatly this year .........

Harry

Harry, sorry to hear you're not going to make it :(

It will always be REEEEding railroad to me.

Tom, I appreciate it! Since I'm out here pretty permanently I'll let you know when I bring the track car to NJ motorsports park for an HPDE and let you take it for some laps around the track if you'd like.

Tim, I do not as of right now... Funny story about that. the ed12A.22 blew itself out of the box. Yeah. I was surprised that it could pull 10 screws out of 3/4 inch thick MDF as well....

But I may have a lil something something on the way that I'm sure you would love to hear. I'm just not sure that I'll have time to get it all installed by reading, but I'll try.

I just bought a truck and I'm not moving every 3 months any more sooo trunk space be damned. I'm going big.

Wow, So I've never really said something and then immediately regretted it more than saying the transmission in my Black SVX was going strong.

As of last week the trans is toast. I'm not even sure exactly what happened, because I haven't had any time to look at it myself, but I believe the front differential siezed. and sheared.
