Thanks for the info! I guess I'll go ahead and buy some new bulbs then. Are the Sylvania Cool Blues really that good, or should I go with Sylvania SilverStar? If I go with the SilverStars, will I even need to do the 9005/9006 mod?! Thanks guys!

I think that the SilverStars are brighter. They are a good light, but more expensive. Yes, they will need to be modified as well. :)

I have 80 watt 9006 bulbs @ $20 cost per pair and they look really good! So far so good on the wireing   :D ( I should also mention that my lenes are spotless) ;)

I have 80W 9006 bulbs at CAD$10/pr. No issues with wiring.

I had more wiring issues with the crappy Eurolights I tried!

i have just done alot of driving and ive burned out 2 of the 4 brights that are in. i run my lights all the time (small saftey percaution). i think i will not run them in the days any more do to the little cracks in the stock lenses from heat and them burning out. i got all silver stars so this is pricey and i need 2 more.

I put Silverstar Ultras in my low beams (9005)...

As for the other two, you could go Silverstar as well. They have both kinds of bulbs.

HIDs in the lows and highs? LOL you would be able to light an entire football field...

ensteele 05-23-2008 12:03 AM

No, I have the HIDs for the low beams and have regulars in the high beams. :)

Re: The 9005 headlight mod

Am I correct in ASSUMING that once you mod it there is no turning back?
