Granted, I would not expect you to understand. I am in no way confused. The position of the fusible link and the sequence involved within the external charging circuit is the crucial factor. :p

Sorry for yesterdays comment. I have spent a lifetime thinking all people are more capable than they actually are. Guess I will never learn.

The alternator on a SVX does not have an " external charging circuit".

I didn't realize that you thought it did. Please disregard my comment. Was simply trying one of my "exercises in futility".

Sarcasm can be the fault of fools. :D

Any wiring external to the alternator carrying charging current, comprises a charging circuit. The system could hardly operate without such a circuit. :p
