Remember that this was the first private meet that the pace car has ever been taken to. It was not that it was just any meet that it went to. :D :D

I don't know the story, and I wasn't at Reading, but I'm still very interested, so... How WAS it that it came to this meet anyway? Who talked who else into making this happen? Pretty cool stuff.

p.s. Has anyone tried to make a replica of this car? That would be pretty swell also.

Our friend Jerry (subicrosser) has been considering doing this to his silver. Now that he has hundreds of pics to look at, we'll see if he decides to do it or not. He's the one who painted my car and rvnmaniac's.

Yeah, it's a little TOO purple for me. I like the pale lilac on the front end, though.

Is that how the pace car started it's life, as a silver car? And I'm just saying it would be neat to have something like it, that you actually COULD drive around if you wanted to.
