Sadly the guy I bought it from lied to me about almost everything on the car, and it has needed almost everything from bumper to bumper replaced.

When you throw proceedure out the window and just replace an engine instead of diagnosing the problem, these things will happen. I hope for the best and your car and that all issues get resolved... I tried to help

I have had two Brightons. Recently sold my 96 even though I hated to do it because I loved the car so much but replaced it with a 2001 Legacy GT Ltd. Wow is that a great car. I still have the other one. it's my daughter's car now that I have the SVX. They are great cars. Simple and very little to go wrong with them. Lots of space and Subaru reliability and AWD....
PS `I love my new 94 SVX. Day two of driving it...

glad to hear it... gonna cost me a little over 600 to get it home after fees and temp tags.... its actually gonna be legal:eek: thats a first for me:D I was looking for something simple that can haul some stuff(4eats;) ) and this popped up... I can fix all woes in it so I am not concerned in that sense... I may go ahead a buy a wrx 5mt for it and convert it to hydroulic and an LSD rear. Either way it will last me a long time regardless of what breaks

Other than the racer, I'd say it's the best $500 car I ever drove :D :D

It was a real nice ride, and now it has me planning on putting a 5-speed into my Legacy :)
