Sorry guys. I'm not coming. :(

Combined with the rain and the fact I've been feeling under the weather the past two days, and I'm dosed up to the eyeballs on meds...I don't think I want to do the drive to NJ.

On the brighter side...I have an interview for an even better job soon. :D

Sorry you didn't get the other job, but it could be a blessing in disguise, since you say this other job is even BETTER! We'll keep our fingers crossed for you.

Not that we want to jump on the bandwagon, but Tom and I went from having a relatively smooth week to what has become our "normal" week -- emergencies and problems popping up left and right -- so we'll probably need the weekend to try and catch up. The way things are going, we may have to bag the idea of having a mini-meet on the 20th and just start planning for the Pumpkin Carve. :(

Sorry, guys.

If you decide to postpone for a week, the odds of us being able to make it may improve. :o

It's not that I didn't get the other job. They haven't called me and I was going to call them but I have a good shot at getting the better job. So I'm waiting. I may not be able to come to the Pumpkin Carve...or if I do come it will only be for one day (possibly Sunday). It conflicts with a show in Leesburg and I need to be there at least Saturday. :o

Yea here is the forecast....

5-7" of rain by NOON!!!!!

winds at a constant 40mph and gusts up to 60mph. I might have to put a snorkle on the SUS just to get home!!! Looks like the silver is going up on the lift to keep the fllod waters out of it:rolleyes:

If people would still like to come I expect to be at the shop around 10-11. We have a pair of Rear wheel bearings to do on Peej while the food gets cooked. Then we can hit some trails and have some fun... If you still want to come we will still be doing something and it will be under cover

I really think it would be better to change this to next weekend. Assuming all that nasty weather really does come our way, I'm going to have to say "no" to this weekend I think.

We are discussing our options.

We are definitely having an off road meet tomorrow.

A beach trip may be in store for next weekend. Please list your interest with moving the actual "beach" portion of the meet to next weekend.
