View Full Version : query about SVX for sale at Sydney dealer

I was wondering whether any of the Sydney based SVX owners/experts have had a look at the charcoal 93 SVX for sale at Action Car Sales in Five Dock?

I am intreested and had a brief look/drive last week. Apparently one owner, 117k's, had front brakes done, service history and seems in good general order.

However I have not owned an SVX before so although aware of the traps for young players in theory (transmission, wheel bearings etc), may not pick things up in practice.

Also, are you aware of any SVX oweners in Canberra where I live, and whether there are any mechanics here who know the cars.

I sent you an email - welcome to the club by the way!

Things are usually quiet in this forum (a lot of lurkers) but we do get together every once in a while and lot of communication via email.

We hope to have another Sydney meet soon.

BTW, there is a 4ws one for sale in Sydney (FREESTYLER's car) that may be worth considering if you want the rarest of the rare! (1000 cars built from memory!)

What I meant is that for such things as meets and smaller matters not directly related to the club we do it via email - the demographic seems to be slightly different in the sense that not forum posters.

But I post!!

You've certainly been quite of late!!

I can't remember the details on that one although I recall Blake and I seeing it one afternoon - the salesman was all a flutter and we let him rabbit on about SVX's (he didn't know anything really!) - we saw his face as Blake pulled his SVX onto the footpath to get me!
