thanks..ill have to talk to noir...about the power mod..i had a pretty big increase ...i put an intake on at the same time...id say i gained about a 20hp increase...the power mod def works...ive even had people in my car before i put it on and then after and they could tell a big difference also...and it was only 35 dollars with shipping and everything so i said if it works it works if not ...not that much...you know any way to make this thing weigh less...quickly...besides taking rear seats out...let me know thanks...

yup, i'm in georgia. i guesstimate that there are about 12-15 known svx's in atlanta. i've seen 2 personally driving down the streets. a few friends saw some around by paint shops, mechanic shops (big surprise lol), and on the road. i know cjoffe is in atlanta and i'm about to pick up some radio harnesses from svxdc in atlanta. so there's a good number here.

Im up in Marietta.....I got a black 92 stock....right now though im in Auburn, Alabama at school.....But I remember when I was in highschool their was some black kid that was runnin' around in a two tone white and black one.....he beat the **** outta it though, and he was making it ghetto.....

I'm here in Marietta. Has anyone done a conversion to a 5 speed here? What type of transmission works, bolts in? What is the $35 mod people are talking about?

that would be the power module off of ebay...its 35 for 10 hp....i bought it...figured its only 35 bucks if it dont work....

im going to have to come up to atlanta to see some other svxs...im going to be leaving the us for about 6 months to a year...thats a long time with no svx....so i might have to come up before i leave....

Hey Noir..... You wanna arrange a mini-meet somewhere in Atlanta before SVXMOFO leaves.... I'll go there with my "other SVX" (stalker)... I've never been to Atlanta and I am dying to meet some of you guys. What do ya think man??? It could be a Saturday thing if that is good with everyone that you know.... Just pick a spot in Atlanta and lets post it in the Upcomming Meets thread. Does sometime in march sound good, that way we can organize a "Snowball to Reading" while we are there.... I was planning on comming up to Atlanta some weekend, Say the.... 15th or the 22nd of March... How bout a mini-meet then... And if noone wants to come I'll still go.... I like to take weekend trips to get me as far away from Beaufort, SC as possible!!!!

sorry for the late response, just got back in town from work. have to go back out next week to florida. i'll post when i'm available and maybe we can meet, but it'll be after next week to find out. how's that cheap mod? does it work? i'm looking into a 5 or 6 speed conversion as well as a turbo. talked to someone who does these types of things and they are researching the car for me now. the turbo guy is looking for someone who is a expert welder to do what he wants to do.

Hey if you guys wanna get in on it, Immortal_Suby and I are gonna install eachother's 5 Speed Tranny's.... He is in greenville and I am willing to drive to his house every weekend till we finnish it. Maybe if you guys have the tranny's when we do ours, you two can get in on it to.... Then we could have two cars getting worked on at the same time with two people on each car.... That would be awesome... I told matt (Imortal_Suby) that I am willing to but all the beer and chips that ya need for snacking on.... :) :D :cool: Let me know what ya think..... Also any of ya want to get in on a "Snow ball" to reading from this area??? Noir, you could meet up with Immortal_Suby right there in Greenville, and SVXmofo, well I don't know where you are but I'm sure that we could find a way to get ya in the herd:D :D ..... If any of ya have 2 way radio's (Motorola Talkabouts, ect...) bring them.... I know that my Jeep drinks gas and I am gonna have to stop atleast twice on the way up there:rolleyes: :rolleyes: ....... Immortal_Suby (Matt) said that he is gonna get his 5-speed from Wawasat?? (Todd)... I was gonna do that but backed out because I didn't really feel comftable having to do alot of the fabrication by my self. I am getting mine from Smallcar.com... Haven't done it yet. we will probably do it around May or June or the beguinning of August.... I am gonna be in Australia from July 1st to July 25th. That's why it is either before then or after.... Do you wanna get in on it???? When do you think that it would be that you would want to do it?? Pick one and I'll go a head and order my Tranny from smallcar.com if you wanna do it in April or May of June.... if you wanna wait till after I get back from Australia, let me know anyway so I can order it before I go. hey smallcar.com is damn expensive. i know 92svxchick has one done. she said that she got her's for about $1k in parts. message her for the info on where to get the parts. i don't mind doing mine, but i'm probably going to wait on it until my auto dies out. i just put a tranny cooler in it to extend the life for a bit. i'd love to check it out though, you guys putting it in. i'll even take pictures and video if we need. i'm looking into this turbo guy to design a turbo that would work for the svx. he is actively searching for a good welder to help put his design into play. know anyone?

Well it looks like we can actually have a good mini-meet sometime in the future.... How about after Reading??? I would say sometime before so we could go ahead and meet eaachother but I am saving my money to get to Reading... Jeeps drivk gas.... Besides I want to have my SVX there at the Mini-Meet too.... ok, i'll check with everyone to see who's interested and available. hey david, i see your next project is in-dash led's. which led's are you changing? i was thinking about changing the climate control from green/amber lights to blue/andsomeothercolor lights. i've taken it apart and i'm looking for 2 color leds (one of which is blue).

Actually, I've got 2. Both Polo Green- look like twins. I'm working with a group of homeschool students to build an autocross racer out of a '92 LSi AWD. Bought it cheap enough to compete in the Grassroots Motorsports Challenge. Had tranny troubles, of course, which we've taken care of. She's running on Nitrous and awaiting a suspension upgrade for the race. She's running pretty good now, but we're about to ditch all the luxury features. The second one, a 1995 L AWD I bought as a parts car for the '92, but its in too good shape to cut up for parts. My son and I take turns driving her, despite a slipping transmission. I've got a 2001 WRX 5-speed waiting to go in when the auto gives up. I think after the race in April I'll probably rob all the good stuff off the '92 and combine them into 1 awesome car. Until then, we're just having fun! :D :D :D

I've got 2 svx's as well and live in the atlanta area. my 92 lsl needs to be resealed. i just bought a 97, but my liscense was just suspended. it will be a week or so before I get everything cleared so I can drive again.

until then, I'm stuck riding marta. :|

hey guys, sorry for the delay, i've been on and off the boards so i haven't seen many threads. email me if you're ever in atlanta. we can grab a bite and beer or something. use the email address messaging option under my profile. i have 2 svx's as well :D. one is only parts though :(. there's another svx'er down in tifton, ga. i forgot his name, it's billy but i forgot his handle. i believe he frequents the subaru dealership down there because i talked to some people that work for that dealership in regards to a svx for sale down there for approx. $4k.
