OK guys, it's been decided! Michelle and I picked February 22nd as the meet date. We will meet in Grand Junction, at the park and ride directly off I-70. Exit 37 (Clifton).. If you get off the right exit you'll definitely see us! We will probably meet around 1 and once everybody shows up we will hit the Monument, then stop someplace for dinner. If you're interested, let either Michelle or I know so we can make sure to look out for ya!
Luckly you guys decided, I was about to post a meet for Craig!

hey, I was just about ready to say I'd like to come. Did a little check on my Street Atlas USA, and its only 1232.2 miles from the USA border, maybe next time.
Um, is it warm there in February?
Or is it more like boarding weather?

No, it's not warm here the end of February. Yes, it's more like boarding weather. And there is a ski resort not far from here.

Sweet Sue wants to meet some other SVX's and so do I so count us in for the meet. Are there any prizes for the first one to the top of the monument? :D

I think that if there will be other SVx's, and good riding conditions , I could be persuaded to make the trip.

You can definitely have that award! I drove up there over the weekend and I won't be racing anybody up that road for a loooooooong time!

Have it marked on my calendar, but don't know for sure yet...Would anyone like to do a day at Powderhorn on Sunday the 23rd? I hear it is a good bargain...
Mitch: How's the new gig going? I hope we both can make it to this gathering...

New gig is great.... May even get time off when I want it to come East! Haven't been to Colo for 15 years... I used to love that drive on I-70 to denver.:)
I would like to do some boarding if I can make it.

I'm not a skiier but I know that Powderhorn is a good deal compared to the more glamorous destinations.

The drive up there is a lot of fun too, as long as you don't get behind someone who wants to do 40 all the way up!
There is also "Old Powderhorn" which is a sledding hill for those who aren't interested in skiing/boarding. It's free, you just gotta bring your sled/tube, and there's no lift.
Really starting to look forward to this little meet!

i will try my best i want to be there, but i have to go to court to find out if i lose my liscense or not the 11th so i might have one of my buds drive me up so i can see all the fine svxs. see you all there.

I have every intention of making this one! I'll bring my snowboard too. I take my SVX to snowboard at a.basin every weekend. This will just be a bit longer drive. :)

I am planning on going to the meet at least part of the time. I need to make it back to Washington State by Sunday evening (20 hour drive) so it will depend on times etc. I am looking forward to seeing you there. :)
I'm currently at the Subaru dealer near Chicago, and I'd like to resolve a problem before I continue home, and it the part I need doesn't arrive until next week, I'll actually be around for this meet. But I should be early. We'll just have to see.

man i am bumming i am schelduled to paint my car that weekend. i hope that i can stay late at the shop and get it done before the meet. this suxs two good things in one weekend that involve my baby

We may meet in Colorado instead of Washington or BC. What a hoot. :D Too bad you are having trouble though. I hope I don't have that much trouble!!! :( I have been very lucky (knock on fake wood) as I have brought my cars home in the past.
How many cars are signed up now? :confused: :)
The car is getting a new RR bearing, FR drive Axle, and a Trany mount, should be done today(if part arrives, so I'll be leaving today if its done before 3pm
Then the car should be almost perfect.

Well Earl, I had originally been anticipating about 15 cars, but we've already had a couple back out, so probably somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 or so. I know there'll be at least 2!
