Does anyone know how to check the codes for the check engine light? Mine just started coming on, but the car is running great. It goes off once in awhile but then will come back on. It is always on when I first start the car in the morning.

It's more than likely an oxygen sensor, but, give this a shot.

Thanks for the reply. I printed all those codes out for my mechanic.

My pleasure. BTW, where's Jamestown, IN?

Jamestown is about 25 miles west of Indianapolis on I-74. It is a very small town but nice. Thanks again.

Just wondering. I'm always looking for 'nearby' SVXers to meet. I work in Evansville (about 3-4 hours from Indy). So far, my "nearest" neighbor is Steve Wasion in Mt. Carmel. Perhaps the three of us can arrange a central location in which to have a "Mini Meet."

That sounds like a good idea. I am about 3 or 4 hours from you from where I am. Terre Haute would probably be the most central point.

Terre Haute would be perfect. When Steve gets back from sunny Florida, we'll see if he wants to get together and when. Of course, it'll have to be AFTER I get my fender fixed. Steve doesn't want to be seen around me until that happens. :D
