While I'm under the car doing stuff I decided to try something out. I got the polyurethane rack bushings for an '02 WRX(whiteline part #KSR202) and decided to see how they fit on the car. While one bushing is square unlike ours, I think it fit pretty well. The bushings are a little small..... On the pass. side the gap is in the area against the crossmember. You do get a good clamp on it, though. The gap is about 7/16 to 1/2 inch. I was able to place the drivers side split so that it rests on the clamp split line. The gap here is smaller than the pass. side. Here are some pics.

Great Job!

The bushings look like they fit well. Are those the 30mm bushings?

I'm not sure what their size is. I just ordered the ones for a 2002 WRX from TurninConcepts. Other Subaru parts vendors should have them as well.

I'll take a look at Whiteline's site. How does the steering feel with the new bushings?
