I love My SVX's have driven them since 1994 and I don't think can get a more comfortable luxury coupe for a daily driver.

I want a Nice later Model, Rust-free Chassis/Body, for under $3500 bucks.

Willing to consider a nice clean car with a bad engine or tranny, as I have two parts cars.

Mine's solid in my opinion... no rust on the main bulk of the body and just two points on the hood that are surface rust.

Here are lots of pictures of the car;

Still looking for a nice rust free SVX will pay up to $3500.

Ideally a Black with Grey leather, but will consider any car that's solid.

I have 2 parts cars already, so I don't need another.

May or may not be worth noting that mine's still for sale :)

To reiterate, my situation. I live in North Central PA. near Elmira NY. (The land of TONS of road salt in the Winter.)

I have 2 SVX's both '92s. My daily driver, is a an Ebony beauty with 158K on the odometer, Sadly, she's beginning to corrode in hard to fix places, (Fuel & brake lines, chassis squeaks, exhaust system shields, etc) I have 2 good trannys, 2 rebuildable engines, and lots of spare parts, but I hate to get into major body repairs on a 19 year old car.

I want to find a good solid chassis/Body or a complete drivable car. I see many on Ebay and other places for under $3500.00 and I am still shopping for the best deal that is within reasonable distance.

SO FAR, haven't found the perfect car for Me.. but I have bought and sold 2 that not good enough to keep for myself but too good to part out. I made a small profit, but I am really looking for a car to restore to top shape and drive.

I'm going to be moving to PA. Either looking to downsize with a couple "projects" or otherwise I picked one up that needs a transmission and has body damage that I'll be fixing once I move. (Car is already out there) That particular one is in great shape and has extensive maintenance history with 117k miles. More than likely it will be getting a 4.44 swap and having the damage properly repaired. It's been a southern PA car so no rust on the body, and once I'm doing the transmission on it, I'll know of the undercarriage condition but would assume it to be in relatively great shape.

The "projects" I have need varied amounts of either interior work or need a complete drivetrain/exhaust swap or both.

Edit: Link to the for sale thread (http://www.subaru-svx.net/forum/showthread.php?t=58691) of the SVX I mentioned (Sorry it's not black)

It would be ready to sell by the end of January I believe. Good luck in your search.

The red 96 that was just posted up needing a transmission may also be a good choice.:) Linky (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1996-Subaru-SVX-Well-Kept-Top-Line-Upgrades-needs-transmission-service-/290639107842?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item43ab70d702)to the ebay add
