Green (Polo or Spruce Pearl) Mike,

I suggest that you try to get about 65 SVXers to sign-up. That way you will have 35-40 show-up. There seems to be a high drop out rate among SVXers.

I think that they had 50+ signed up at Reading iii. I think that the final count of SVXes was somewhere between 33 to 36.

Mike SIgn me UP

Larry is right, sign up as many as you can.. I was a bit dissappointed in the drop out rate.. Hey plans change and people get busy.

Looks like most of the people already signed up were at the Lafayette meet. Cool.... Now lets hope I still have wheel bearings around this time Next year.. Seems my meachanic can't do a bearing change without messing other things up.. Like costly Wheel sensors GRRRRRRRRRRRRR. yeah I'm not happy.

I can tell that one of the rear bearing isn't going to last long, lets hope it's the Passenger side one and it dies before Dec.. IT's not loud or rumbling, but I hear something ODD.. THe warrenty ends in Dec.. :)

Why not ask Uncle Worn & Sandy or someone else who lives in the area to check out both Holiday Inns and make a recommendation ? I did that with different hotel chains local to DE & Phila. while I was trying to pick hotels in Lafayette.
Hotel chain bld'g. construction and decor is basically the same across the country.

Larry, here is a copy of what I last said in the HOTEL thread.

"The "new" location is not so unknown as Joe (NuVission) has been there to check out the facilities, and knows the area well. (He lives about 200 yards from the hotel.) There is a large truck parking lot that is more than adiquate for our group. If you have any other concerns regarding this location, Im sure joe can go down there with a digital camera and document the facilities for us.

There is also many more resuraunts and other hotels surrounding the new location.

Mike"

Just for the record, our good friend John Hoffman has been working on the Motel situation. Morgantown responded with a room rate of 62.00 per night as opposed to there heretofore 78.00 per night (plus tax).

Well, the way I look at it 48.00 per night for a room I barely stay in is much better than 62.00. I definitely will miss the "tradition" of not being at Morgantown, but, perhaps the Denver HI will take us under their wing, moreso than Morgantown seemed to appreciate our patronage. Besides, the owner of the Denver HI, also owns an SVX -- that, was the cincher. :D

Randy.

Rosie & I attended the original SCOA/SAAB "Covered Bridge Tour".
We were the only SVX. I was disappointed that there were no SAAB 96 models or Sonnets. That tour started from the Denver Holiday Inn. They had on heck of a great "All You Can Eat -Sunday Brunch." I ate so much that I flat spotted my tires when I got into the SVX.:D .
That tour is where I got the idea and original directions for the Reading 3 covered bridge tour.

I seem to remember that the Denver Holiday Inn seemed to be homier and more "down home" than the Morgantown HI. It was kind of like the feeling at the Homewood Suites in Lafayette.
I only speak about the lobby area. I was never in any of the rooms at the Denver, HI.

Heck, this is becoming some meet. COOL!

I can still remember the look on Ben Rowley's face at the first Reading meet. He expected half of the 20 cars that signed up to drop out. Instead, three more than had signed up, came. :D:D:D

Am I a sick person for getting torqued this early? :D

LarryIII

If ET (Evil Twin) is the name for Aredub's new SVX, Then I propose the following pet names for his original pearl SVX:

Shari's SVX
Shari's Pearly
Was His-Now Her's

I also suggest that we get matching his & her, zebra stiped towels with the SVX logo on them for the "First Couple."

I was also thinking of a bumper sticker for Evil Twin. It reads;
"My Other SVX is Really My Wife's" !!!:D :D :D :D

<<<Am I a sick person for getting torqued this early? >>>>

Randy,
Not as sick as I was/am (pick one or both).
I was torqued from Dec. 99 until Jul. 23, 02.

I am disappointed that there won't be a Snoeshoe iii this year. Maybe we should drive out to Wash. state and give Troy & Earl a big thrill (Ron, don't go there) at their meet.

In lieu of snowshoe iii ,the MD. (that's Maryland not Mad) SVXers should organize an SVX Crab Fest.

Maybe, Rosie and I will just go to the Brooklyn SVX Club's annual meeting in AC (Atlantic City). We will hve the only non-black SVX there.

We'll be meeting at the Denver Holiday Inn on the 11, 12 and 13th of April, 2003. If you want to know more than you'd ever want to know about the SVX, that'd be a good place to be. I look forward to meeting you there.

I did not check the rooms; with Holiday Inn they are pretty standard. We are familiar with the area and drove through twice in past few weeks. There is basically no big difference as far as distance from Reading, PA Dutch country, etc. The proposed (Denver/Adamstown) area is especially noted for antiques and has a long strip of fairly large antique shops. The area is "more organized" than Morgantown but I would not say that anything is within "walking" distance simply because of the road layout and traffic patterns. One would need a car to travel to the area antique shops, diners, and may even prefer driving to the convenience mart just across the street simply because of crossing the busy intersection.
The Denver Holiday Inn is a little older, smaller and more like a "motel" than the Morgantown Holiday Inn which is more like a "hotel." Denver has only an outdoor pool which will be closed in April, not year round indoor as Morgantown has, and as already mentioned, Denver does not allow dogs where Morgantown does permit pets. There are several other motels in the Denver/Adamstown area and probably this competition plus the style of the building contribute to the lower rates.
The settings are equally appealing depending on one's viewpoint. There is more grass and less blacktop at Denver than at Morgantown. The parking lot at Denver is certainly adequate. For a club meet the "truck lot" is set separately but adjacent to the motel parking area and is more than adequate for the number of cars likely to show.
Here is a completely unbiased objective assessment:
IT PROBABLY MAKES NO DIFFERENCE WHERE YOU STAY - PEOPLE MAKE THE PARTY. Location for club activities is relatively equal. If club members want to spend a little less for a room then obviously Denver is better. Denver benefits those traveling from the west slightly more than those coming from the east who will spend only a wee bit more on travel time, gas, and turnpike fare. Larry, you did ask the young guys to get involved with planning, and that is what they are doing. Based on the hotel size, however, service hours for the restaurant & lounge, and possibly overall service, within the hotels is probably better at Morgantown. (Also objectively, the price reduction is a nice gesture, however, an "absentee" SVX owner does not necessarily get my allegiance. Hotel/Motel owners I have known “possess” Mercedes, Range Rovers, Porches, airplanes, etc.)
Now here is my somewhat biased opinion which favors Morgantown: I don’t stay overnight because I am within commuting distance either way but I am closer to Morgantown. I have three dogs and am ALWAYS partial to hotels that allow well behaved pets even when I travel without them. We have one member with a well behaved dog requiring such a room. A few members, and especially those bringing children, might enjoy the indoor swimming facilities offered at Morgantown. Morgantown also has a McDonald’s with easy walking access. If one goes to the main street of Morgantown, he will find restaurants which serve alcohol/or not and with advanced notice take large groups. There really is something to be said in favor of tradition.

...And finally, just one quip: You can’t carry antique Hoosiers OR replicated Wootens in an SVX anyway.

We have already begun making plans asuming there would be no question as to the host hotel. I wasnt aware we were still debating this issue. <sigh> I dont want to sound mean or anything, but could we PLEASE just choose a place and stick with it? It's going to make planning a heck of a lot easier. We had planned on meeting this weekend to discuss 'drive' routes, but we cant do that if we dont know which hotel to use.

I didn't know that there was a question, either. But, if there still is, I suggest you contact SVXcess. He's the one who will be putting his plastic on the line, come contract time.

(BTW, Thank you, John, for doing that last year and offering to do the same this year.)

And you didn't get a ticket, in Indiana? Sheesh. You've broken a record. ALL SVXers get tickets in Indiana, even if you aren't driving an SVX. I mean, I drove through New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Part of Kentucky and as soon as I hit INDIANA, BAM! I get a ticket for no tags (even though the KY DMV told me I didn't need them -- sheesh -- add 85.00 to the cost of my 2nd SVX). John Hoffman was driving from La Jolla, California to Baltimore, MD in his Outback. Now, in all those miles, where was the ONE place he got a ticket. YOU GOT IT! INDI - FREAKIN' - ANA! Man, I gotta get over this. I'm still ticked. :D

Randy,

The reason you got the speeding ticket was that you were going EAST to WEST on an odd numbered day of the month. Warren was traveling WEST to EAST on an odd numbered day. He was going with the flow. You were going against it. If you had been going WEST to EAST on an odd numbered day or EAST to WEST on an even numbered day, you would not have been ticketed. You have to learn how & why government does things.

Larry III
How's that for weird reasoning.

I've done no ticket no tag, no plate twice from east coast to Chicago last year in 2 different SVXes.

Reading SVX and the NJ SVX that I currently drive. That was fun.

This kinda bites. I live in Santa Fe, NM and according to Yahoo, I'm 1800+ miles and 30+ hours (not counting the time spent on the side of the road in Indiana, discussing current affairs with local law enforcment agencies) from Reading. Who made Reading the center of the US SVX universe? ;)

I could fly, but then my SVX wouldn't be there. I could drive, but that's one full week and 4000 miles.

I think it's only fair to relocate the meet to a more central location - like Albuquerque, for instance. :D :D

Whaddaya think?

Then you were lucky. :) (Geography has never been my strong suit). It was amazing, though. When I drove my car home, I went therough New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Part of Kentucky, then, about 5 miles into Indiana, BAM!

Same way on the way to Vermont. I wasn't five miles into Indiana after crossing over from KY 'til, BAM!

Well, I guess the tickets were a "trade off" -- Got one for no tags (state - really didn't deserve that one), got one for 75 in a 55 (local sheriff - deserved that one), got a warning for 86 in a 65 (Unmarked State - deserved a ticket, but appreciated the mercy)

Sheesh, if we keep this up, we're going to rival the 80+ cars at the 10th Anniversary meet. :D

Of course, this is always an emotional meet for me (they say the first is always your best. :D). Hard to believe it is growing so quickly. I still cherish the look on Ben Rowley's (the organizer of Reading I) face when car #23 pulled in. As a meet organizer for his MR-2 club, he usually lost half of the sign-ups by meet time. For Reading I, 20 signed up, 23 showed up. I love this bunch!!! :D:D:D:D

Randy,

The official count for the 10th Anniv. Meet is 93 SVXes. Although at no one time were all 93 in attendance. I think the highest number we had at any one point was 87. It would be 95 if we count richeich's beautiful white Legacy & Don's Aqua Impreza. Their SVXes were there in spirit if not in body.

Have you heard anything from Ben lately? I lost contact with him.

Squiggs,

I can only have favorites that I actually saw.
My all time favorite was # 8, folloed by 7 & 9.

Like him, I was a a great hitter. I could hit line drives anywhere. Unfortunately, I was also slower than slow. I was the guy who would leg singles out of triples.

PS: For the non-Yankee fans out there, #8 and I have the same first 2 names; "Lawrence Peter".

Bring the kids. We can do 'face painting'. Imagine "SVX" painted in pearl & black on their rosey cheeks.

Besides, you have to influence them now at an early age to buy the right car when they are old enough.

Bill,
Great to hear that you're probably tentatively attending, maybe. :D

Hogtie the grandparents and turn the kids loose in their house. If your kids REALLY love them, they'll untie them after you've gone. :D:D:D

Larry,
Thanks for the idea...they're already helping clear out our "old" two car garage to make room for SVX #2. Since there are 3 kids, and the wife isn't into letting one of them ride in the trunk, I'll probably have to wait until Reading in 2004 to bring them all along. I really like the SVX face painting idea...should have tried it at Halloween.

Scott,
Dang it! I just got back from visiting my stepson in your area (Missouri Valley, Iowa). Was down at the big fireworks display in Omaha on New Year's Eve. Also spent the evening of the 28th in Omaha. Next time we're out that way, we'll have to hook up. Look forward to seeing you in Reading. Oh, I met my wife in Omaha.

Randy,
Well it is a small world you know. I would love to get together sometime when you are out this way. Not to many SVXers in Omaha, only 5 others besides me that I know of, and have never met any of them except one guy at the Subaru dealer one morning we were dropping off for service. I was actually up in the Chicago area over New Years, but didn't encounter any of our members driving around up there. I would have missed you anyways on this end. Hopefully we will see you in Reading.

Sure hope you can make it, Scott. Perhaps we can convoy. I usually meet up with people coming from the west, around Columbus, OH, if I can. I probably won't head out your way for a while. I know you and the other Reading Meet organizers had some kind of meeting (....er, beer fest) over the holdays to plan activities for this meet.

Is it too early to let the rest of us in on what activities are planned?

Are we going to SOA & or a race track?

Definately too early for activities. Although we did stay away from the drinks of Friday night so we actually got a little more accomplished:D. As for the rooms someone asked a little earlier. Your on your own to make arrangements although tell them you are with the SVX meet to get the special discounted rate. Most of the staff seemed familiar with it. Parking lot looks nice for the large numbers were hoping for.

Larry,
I tried to stay away, I really, really did, but, I just couldn't.

Reminds me of the joke I heard, about the kid who was ice fishing and was pulling out fish hand over fist. When a man asked him how he did it, the kid mumbled an answer. The man let the kid know that he hadn't understood him and asked that the kid repeat his answer. The kid mumbled his answer a little louder. Finally, frustrated, the man said, "Son, You'll have to speak up, I can't understand you." At this point, the kid spat a mouthful of squirming night crawlers into his mittened hand and replied, "I said, I keep the worms warm!"

Hey, I am a new member and want to get as actively involved with events as I can.. I have never been to a SVX meet before and want really badly to go... However since I am in the Marines I have to get information way ahead of time so that I can plan on the dates and get leave.... (any service members know where I'm comming from). So the Reading meet, when is it?? And where exactly?? What goes on at the meet?? I am in SC at the moment so if there are any meets that are in SC, NC, or VA that go on, please let me know and I will put 100% into being there to help show off our awesome cars to the "Non-SVX ers". I'm shure that people just stop and stare at all of the SVX's just sitting in a parking lot. It has to be a cool feeling knowing that a group of cars can have that effect on people. I also want to meet you people so I ca stick some names with some faces.

Well I thank you for any help that ya can give to a new member!!!!

Hope to see all of ya sometime in the near future!!!

Green,
Hope you can make it.

Reading IV will be held in Lancaster, PA from Friday night, April 11, through Sunday, April 13.

Friday night is an "early bird" social time for those of us who drive up early. Saturday will be filled with social time and a drive (this year may be different, depending on what the planning committee comes up with). Sunday will be for those who remained and have to drive home. We'll have breakfast and say our goodbyes. It's a great time and the perfect venue for getting to know how great SVX owners are.

Here's the motel info:

Holiday Inn Lancaster, $49.00/night plus 11% tax for a total of $54.39/night. (As a reference, our price was $78.00/night plus tax last year.)

At present we are asking for between 20-25 rooms. You can to call 1-800-437-5711 and ask for the subaru SVX rate.

If my car isn't done by then then I'll probably drive up in my friend's Jee(he is on deployment and gave the car to me to use while he is gone). Will that be ok anyway?? I am sorry for that but it is out of my hands. Dangit, Olu! Where in the world have you been? Good to see you. With Kuo, SBkim and you, appearing suddenly and at about the same time, it feels like "old home week."

Good to hear from you, and can't wait to see y'all in Reading!!!

Weeeeeeeeeellllllll... it's leaking tranny fluid from somewhere, probably the power steering hose or something. I'll have my answer by Monday, along with a nice hefty bill (well, what other kind is there? ). I'm sure the ride will be in half-decent shape come April!

Hmmm, about the same as the ride home, from picking it up.
I will have to think about this.

Well, I know it'd be tough, but, you could hold off picking up the car 'til April. Might be your "once in a lifetime" opportunity to hang out with us whack-o's from the Nor'East (waidaminnit, I'm from Kentucky). We'd love to be able to spend some time with you. C'mon. You can do it. :D

As for waiting til april, not likely.
But as for a road trip, pewrhaps I could get work to pay for it, yeh, thats gonna happen..then again, they just approved us using ViaRail as a new option for travel. seems odd, but whatever.

Well, I'll see how the trip home goes, and if work doesn't have me on a project, I just may drive back. Hey, maybe I could sell the car back to SVXcess:D :D :D

Randy,

I like the idea you threw out the other day of meeting in the Ohio area and convoying from there. Of course it is all about timing. I have started looking at the map and what routes I may take and what day to leave.

Meeting up in Ohio is a very good possibility, lets keep that in mind as April gets closer.

Hey Mike,

That's a loaded question........

Anyone know what dyshidrotic excema is. After several months of steroid treatments I finally have skin on my arms, hands, and legs again. My doctor said it was /is the worst case he has ever seen. Lucky me - lol

You met sean.............Let's just say that was the only time you'll ever see him :( Since then I've kept a low profile......Too much stress to deal with!!!

Thanx, glad to see someone is still glad to see me :) I'll make sure your love notes at Reading are extra steamy this year. If the Ouzo doesn't keep you warm the notes should :D Who loves ya baby?!?!

I'll try to stop in more often but as is my computer died so the only time I get to go online is when I stop at my brothers......That's not too often :(

Randy,

So if we meet in Ohio, what day and when?

I am trying to look at the calender and schedule time off. I was tentatively thinking of leaving Omaha Thurs. afternoon maybe leave work early and hit the road. If I got a good chunk of miles in that night, and get up early Friday I could probably make it to Columbus by Noon Friday, maybe earlier if I get some momentum going in the SVX. Looks like about 12 hours drive time, that's conservative too. Then another 3 hrs. Columbus to Reading correct?

What's the "pre-agenda" for Friday? When do things start? After 5pm Friday? I assume the big days are Sat. and some of Sun.

This being my first meet I could use some insight here.

Scott.

Scott,
The wife and I usually leave Owensboro on Thursday night, stop just south of Columbus and then head out in the morning. We generally go through Columbus at around 10 AM on Friday, but, I'd be willing to meet at noon (give me a little time to sleep in).

Friday night is usually just kibitzing, getting to know the "early birds," talking cars and spending a little "quality time" in the Bar. Saturday we usually go on a drive for a couple of hours, but this year (unlike previous years), we have a "committee" that is putting together some activities especially since there are so many cars coming this year (It started as the largest meet in the U.S. with 23 Cars, back in 2000. We had around 20 in 2001 and over 30 in 2002 -- let's keep it growin' :D ) Sunday, is generally breakfast and goodbyes for those who stayed over. Now, you know as much as I do. :D

Chellie, I'll bring my laptop, but, hopefully, by then, you'll have this place figured out. Just ask SVXphile, he didn't know his axe from applebutter about this site, now, he's a pro! :D

Hey, Aredub, you may want to risk one eye & sneak a peek over at today's Wahoo. Seems some dude is infringing upon one of your patented exclamations. He also seems rather lucid. Maybe you can recruit him for Reading.

For the last couple of years, it's been "Montypython" who drives from Wisconsin. Scottheany will have that honor this year, unless Zepplin (who, since he signed up, has moved from NY to CO) actually shows up, or, another of our west coast contingent decides to make the sojourn.

Hey Mr. Presidente' I am in the process of requesting leave to get to the meet. I am traveling from Beaufort S.C. so it is about a 12 hour trip I guess. I am very interested in a convoy, even though I probably won't have my SVX with me. It looks like I'll have my Jeep instead... If there are any convoys that are taking I-95 to the meet and comming from the South. I would love to meet up with ya and travel in a pack!! Let me know if there is anyone.....

Immortal Suby will be coming from Greenville, SC. You can probably "snowball" with some of the VA members, as well. I look forward to seeing you there.

Mike :D :D

Because he's, like, the second SVXer I ever met. :D The first was "Rory" "machinegunner" "SVXpert" or, whatever he was calling himself that day. I think the third was Nick Owens and his Peckerhead brother. :D THEN, this whacko walks up to my car, points to the little plastic cover on my rear wiper and says "that's the best part on the car." It took me a moment (after trying to figure out whether I should run from this guy or not) that it was "Unkle Worn" from whom I'd purchased that very piece. I only met Larry by default, while he was organizing a group photo, at which time I dubbed him with the infamous "aye, aye, aye." As we were taking the photo, a person who was not going to be in attendance (which disappointed me greatly) showed up. MARIA! I JUST MET A GIRL NAMED MARIA! I sang.

Sorry, folks. My first meet (Reading I) was an emotional experience. I never see another SVX in my neck of the woods (unless I have lunch with Steve Wasion). It brought tears to my eyes to exit the hotel to see 17 lined up in the parking lot and it brought whoops and whistles when number 23 pulled in.

Gosh, can anybody tell that I NEED a meet "fix" very soon? :D

Looks like it may be me?...looking at it so far it looks like about 1100 miles from Omaha to Reading...roughly 16 hours I think depending on average cruising speed. I have been dying for a nice long road trip so I am looking forward to it. I drove the SVX up to Chicago over Christmas and loved it...now I want more!:p

I'd rather overestimate and get there ahead of schedule than underestimate and get there late.

Also I think oil lasts far less in city driving and with the highway driving you'll be doing the oil should last for 10,000 miles or more.

No worries. I learned my lesson. I keep a mig welder and cutting torch in the trunk. Cut off the old plug, drain the oil, weld on a new one. I don't plan on losing the plug ever, ever, ever again. :p :p :p

At last count there were 59 members coming. When I negotiated the contract with the Holiday Inn I reserved 25 regular rooms (2 full size beds each) and 5 upgraded rooms with king bed. So as of this point, there are only 30 rooms reserved in the block.

I can still increase the number of rooms on reserve, but a need an accurate number. It is probably easier for anyone on the list to post if they WILL NOT be needing a room at the hotel. I know there are many members who live close enough to go home each evening.

If you want to email me at jhoffman@ccbcmd.edu and let me know if you will not be staying I will recalculate our needs. I would like to let them know by the end of this week.

START MAKING YOUR RESERVATIONS! Cutoff date is March 11, 2003

All reservations should be made directly with the Hotel, with reference to the Subaru SVX Club. The code is 7RDNG.
The hotel phone number is (800) 437-5711.
Their website is http://www.sixcontinentshotels.com/h/d/hi/hd/EPRPA;jsessionid=RQTFHCISIKYWZJICRYZSJ0VFAKHDIIY4? _franchisee=EPRPA&currentBrandId=HI&_requestid=381585

Any of the rooms in this block not reserved by March 11, 2003 were released. (If you happen to make reservations after this date they will still honor the club rate IF rooms were still available.)

Hi Guys, (and Gals)...

I was just wondering if there is anyone from the west coast planning on driving to Reading? (Canada or US, Washington, Oregon) I'm pondering the thought.... Let's see, Vancouver B.C. to Reading....hmmm, never heard of it, gotta' look it up....... Yes, it would be a nice highway trip. Maybe hook up with another SVX?.... Just curious......:)

No, that was my tactic at Reading I. It worked! :)

My "guilt" tactic, this year, will be: If Uncamitzi can drive from Salt Lake City, and CDG, et al, can drive all the way from VANCOUVER, BC, then the entire Eastern THIRD of the U.S. has NO EXCUSE!

Beg? Never!

That is true about the eastern US not having an excuse. I am comming from South Carolina.... The drive isn't hard at all, it's just trying to get my leave approved for this function.... But it is looking good at the moment. :)

So, bubba, what's the farthest you've driven to a meet? The farthest I've driven is almost 3,000 miles, when I went to Snowshoe I . . . . via Vermont!!! :D

Obviously, our Military brothers and sisters are exempt from excuses. I hope your leave is approved and that there aren't any "sudden developments" that prevent you from coming.

It looks like I still will be able to make it there. I'm not betting that anything really sudden will happen, atleast in my job. I am Explosive Safety for the 8 Squadrons stationed here. I used to be in a Squadron myself but there is this whole security clearance thing going on now. I can't hold a secret clearance because I am an Australian Citizen. So I had to switch jobs to Safety. No problem there cause now I get my own Computer and it gives me time to get on the network more... That way I can get more involved with all you other SVX'ers out there!!!! Yay!!!:D

Thank you, Marine. I knew I could count on you. :D

I've gotten several battlescars from these "black pajamas" around here. They've been taking potshots at me for years! Just remember, when my back's to you, and the firing starts, I got my training in the trenches -- no non-com here. :D:D:D

Randy,

I thought that it was the Blue Chenile Bathrobes and the N-word lovers that gave you the battlescars, not the black PJ's.

Heck, I didn't even know that there were any SVXes 'in country'. I thought that the VC an RVN all drove SUV's.

As Ceasar said,"An army travels on its stomach." So this here ole mess sarge made you guys something to keep you going as you ward off the enemy. Does the acronym SOS sound familiar.:D

Greenmarine,

In case the going gets slow while you're covering Aredub's backside (that's a pretty big area for only one to cover) I have attached the latest listing from Iraqi TV Guide.
You may notice that they only have one channel and reception is poor because their transmission antenna is 100 ft. underground.

OK, I just cleared my schedule at work for a week, so I"M IN!!!! (unless work dictakes me otherwise) According to map quest, it's gonna take me 45 hours and 45 minutes to drive one way. Approximately 4786 km's one way, so I guess I'll be adding to my original and current 27,311 miles and counting on my 96 LSI... It should be a fun road trip, and I can't wait, so put me on the list...

P.S Can someone send me an itin. or a schedule of events?, oh, and an exact address would be nice.... My email is igonefishing@yahoo.com :D
