Dont know if this is considered a mod, but I tried some charcoal leather dye on some worn areas of the drivers seat of my 92 SVX It did a great job - a perfect match. It was color S16118. If you're interested, send an email to seatsrestore4u2@gmail.com ($25 for a 2 ounce touch up kit; $39 for a bottle to do 2 seats). I'm not in any way affiliated with them but thought this was a great product.

Folks here have been using it for a while. It's pretty amazing, isn't it. I just tried it last weekend and I was thrilled.

The really amazing thing is how well it worked on my steering wheel. No more brown patches, and it has held up for over a year.
