well everyone i had a day free and the weather is finally nice so i started my turbo kit install! what a tight fit and squeeze this turbo is going to be.Not alot of room to work under the hood which is making the install take longer than i thought.

forgot to mention that this is my newly aquired 5 speed svx that many of you saw at the reading in really bad shape! i have done a ton of things and fixed a ton of things on this svx to get it running good since it was at reading. it was running and driving the day after reading and the body work will be getting fixed this week.as far as the turbo kit is going i just had to pull the 2 pc power steering hose as it kept hitting the turbo even when i bent it out of the way.Im going to try a 1 pc hose instead.Small things are holding me up right now nothing major though. It should be all done within a couple of hrs.:D

its a big garrett turbo! I Just came in to take a break and i am realizing that i need to replace the power steering rack before getting the whole kit bolted down for the last time:mad:. its leaking and i dont want to have to pull everything back off. i am also realizing that i might be better off switching to non abs brake system as that would give me more room that i need.ill load some pics i took when i get a chance.

No and this is what I believe to be a turbo kit that was produced by a german company. I could be wrong about where it came from but it looks to make the production turbo kit that was produced.

How do you plan on protecting the engine wire harness from the heat of the turbo?
