Year/Model 4.44 Transmissions

Yes I know i should use the search, but I did and after a few hours of searching Im not finding anything. What year and models have the 4.44 gear. Are they all the same or do some have more benefits then others?

Find a Subaru with the 2.5 and the automatic transmission,
Legacy Outback, Legacy Outback Limited, Legacy GT, Legacy GT Limited, Forester, SUS, Impreza 2.5 RS, from 1995-early 1998
WITHOUT A SPIN ON FILTER, and you should be good to go.
