Steering Light

Occasionally my steering light comes on. Sometimes it goes off. Other times it flickers on and off. Steering seems to be normal. Any ideas.

Yes--just the steering light.

Check your belt. Try adding another ground to your battery. I just had this problem, the end result was a bad alternator. All my power cut out on the freeway. When you accelerate fast do the lights in your car flicker, or fade. The clock is the best way to tell if they are. accelerate fast and see if your clock dims or flashes. If it does its probobly a bad alternator or bad ground. Try the cheapest solution first.

Thanks for the tip--I will check the lights while accelerating to see if they dim. I will also clean the grounds--a good idea on any car!
