My car... a 1997 LSi... has only 33,000 miles. But it's 13 years old. It needs new struts. I've read that the stock struts have been sitting too long at SOA and leak the moment they come out of the box!
I'm thinking of doing the Koni insert route. And rather than have the shop spend the time cutting apart my struts and my car sitting on the lift for hours... Is there anybody here that can put together a clean stock set-up... with used stock struts, used stock springs, new tops mounts and new Koni's?
So I can just do a PNP strut assembly swap out?
Seems like a good way to go...
