instead of unplugging the fuel pump to make it easier to change the fuel filter is there a fuse for the fuel pump? if so where is it located, unless i'm blind its not in either fuse box.

There's no tools required unless you count your hands. There is a plastic tab on both side in between the seat and carper that you pull up on and the bottom part comes out.

Gamesy,
If you are so concerned pull fuse No. 16, which protects the fuel pump. But why worry? The pump is only energised when the ignition is activated. Keep the keys in your pocket.:D

my plan is to unplug the pump and start the car therefore draining and releaving some pressure for when i unplug the lines

Good thinking. ;)
Fuse 16 also covers the airbag system, but nothing else as far as I can ascertain. Therefore this should do the trick. :)

If your pulling fuses for anything airbag related disconnect the battery and wait 10 min before pulling it.

ya you might end up popping the bag lol. Speaking of which anyone know the shelflife of an airbag? I seriously doubt they can last 15years

Why is there a difference in disconnecting the battery and pulling the fuse, in respect of the B+ supply to the airbag system? Another rumour no doubt. ;)
