To further clarify what has been discussed in the Fresh Start-Alternator Wiring Upgrade thread found HERE (http://www.subaru-svx.net/forum/showthread.php?p=595022#post595022), please help me determine and verify what I have found.
Count only the number of wires connected to the alternator charging post and running through the black plastic channel on top of the engine.
DO NOT count the two smaller wires that come from the alternator plug on the left side of the alternator (which also run through the same plastic channel)
