I am about to buy my first SVX, awesome condition, recent reciepts for tranny, engine, and suspension work. I have a Apexi Neo SAFC II that I have from a project that I never finished, I was wondering if anyone knew if this would work on the 92 SVXs and how to wire it? Apexi's site isnt helping much and I cannot find a direct email for them. I know this isn't as good as a stand alone, but it's something for now.

Speaking for consensus: eBay it.

Well that doesn't really help me... I know I COULD ebay it, but I want to see if I can use it first and how to hook it up if I can.

Undoubtedly, you could, but whether it would be worth it is truly another story.
Do you have a link to a .pdf manual for the thing?

On Apexi's site that have PDFs manuals, but nothing for the SVX listed. Doesn't mean it wont work. They don't list the Chevy Aveo but it works.

Well that's a surprise. I was on their site for over an hour and couldn't find anything. So I'm holding tight.

Here's my best guess:

I invite everyone to verify my work!
I chose B62-14 (Power supply ground) for the ground for the Neo so that everything would be retained in the system. My only true uncertainty is the tach signal.

Please get a second opinion before wiring this up? My PP6 in my old Legacy went fine for me, so I'm confident, but I'd like to see one of our more proficient wiring gurus back this up.

Still waiting for some info on this. I had this installed on my Outback Sport a couple of weeks ago. Trying to to figure out a few things. Car is showing a speed sensor error....check engine light. Not totally related but still interested in seeing where this thread goes on this device. Thanks!
