I ordered some tires tuesday night and they were waiting for me when I got home Thursday after work. I was surprised by how quickly they got to my door. Plus no tire place can beat their prices.

They've got a depot in Delaware so it's not far to your place. Tirerack and discounttiredirect.com are both excellent to deal with.

I've used them before and will probably keep using them for all my tires - they're great.

I was browsing Tirerack recently and checked on prices of tires for my BBS rims. Dunlop Direzza Z1 would be about $180 each, shipped to my place in Canada. This includes duties, customs, etc. I really like that Tirerack includes customs fees in the purchase price, so I don't get a surprise from the UPS guy when they show up at my door.

For comparison, the same tires at the shop I work at have a base price of $370/tire. Gee, let's see...$720 for a set, or $1480 for the same thing. And my manager wonders why I won't buy rubber from him.

They have some sweet deals on wheels too. I'd love to see what a set of MB Battles look like on a SVX.

The depot is only about a mile from where I work.

I just ordered a set of RE01R's from them. I don't care if I don't get many miles on them and that they are old stock...for $59 (clearance) each it's well worth it.

Even after paying for mounting and balancing, you still beat your local tire shops. I bought several sets from both TireRack and discount tire. Even bought some wheels for my legacy.

Ordered up a set of struts and sport springs for my new acquisition, the Legacy, and everything was fine, up until my shop went to install them - wrong parts!!!

Apparently. I called tirerack.com to ask for some kind of explanation, and while they said they're looking into it and have been very nice about it, that was 675$ US on stuff that might not work from a site that says it does.

We checked, they checked, everyone double-checked the numbers. The parts, the box, and the listing all match, but something is wrong. I'll reserve final judgement until after I hear back from them again.
