1st to 2nd shift

In my opinion, my transmission shift from 1st to 2nd is a bit rough. It reminds me of my old Dodge. All other shifts are very smooth by comparison. I'd say it's this way all the time, regardless of how long I've run the car. Sort of abrupt and hard is the way I'd describe it. For maintenance I had the tranny flushed by the dealer about 3 weeks ago. No real change. What do you think?

Have you made sure your resistor behind the battery that controls the line pressure in the tranny is within spec (7-15 ohms)? When my resistor burned out my 1-2 shifts were very rough. My power light would flash when I started the car indicating that there was in fact a problem.
