I am watching the Illinois fiasco with great interest. For all of you "Change" voters, it seems we got a change alright. A big move to the side of political "cronyism" and corruption. Questions are now being asked about the fast rise of Obama out of this cesspool of corruption. Its obvious already that if you didn't "pay to play" in the Illinois poltical arena and particularly the Chicago area, that you did not get anywhere. Obama has never been able to explain his fast rise and all of his corrupt connections.

I think this is going to get verrrryyyyyyyyy interesting.

The american people don't embrase rapid change easily. Obama is just to different from what they're used to, and in all reality, shouldn't have won. I wonder what happened behind the scenes that they picked him. I agree, it happend way to fast.

LeeBecause the previous administration CLEARLY had no corruption.

 Seriously Lee, you're grasping at straws here. The Bush administration has been swirling in corruption since its inception.

As I say "Once a politician , always a politician". Its amazing how lying can get you so far in life especially in America.

I know you really don't believe this. Besides, I won't let you off that easily--you have to cite specific examples of direct or potentially indirect involvement of Bush. :p

You give Bush too much credit. Last I saw, he was still trying to figure out how to cut steak with a knife.

Haliburton--the only company in the world that could have performed the functions at the time the contract was let. KBR IS Haliburton.

Cheney? What are your allegations of corruption on his part???

Enron???? As I recall the Bush administration has done more to prosecute white collar crime than any previous administration. :)

Valerie Plume???? There was no corruption involved here. The only thing that came out of this was the Libby did not tell the truth under oath. Remember Bill Clinton impeachment???? :p

Failed oil companies??? What is the allegation of corruption here????

Shoot a man in the face???? Since when is a hunting accident classified as political corruption????

"I need not say more??????" You haven't said anything that makes sense or is relative to the corruption label. How about getting real and really coming up with some corruption. As usual you are long on words and lacking in substance. ;)

Political arguments are the best. They never end! and nobody is ever right! They get to the bottom of nothing and will more than likely bring the worst out in everyone. Its all based on B.S. Something to keep us busy, a reason to work and pay taxes, the all mighty dollar.

Yeah its functional. but I'm not happy with it. Shoudnt people be able to accomplish more in life. Friggen pyramids will outlast anything we have ever done, unless of course they get blowed up. where am I:confused:

well put. i hate politics.

That's easy--stay out of the clearly marked political section. It's not like TV news where if you want the news you have to watch the political new too. Cheeeeeezz!!

Lee's right. Bush and Cheney would never engage in any activity that would be considered corruption. God would not choose Bush as his herald if he was corrupt. God sent his best champions, Bush n Cheney, to liberate his enslaved children who were led astray by the evil Belcebuballah.

LOL

Nice to see someone who has already embraced socialism head on, and with a smile yet!

Give it time. He's not even in office yet (although he is arrogant enough to have his little "Office of the President Elect" signs) and is already breaking his promises.

Neither candidate was worth anything. obama was the worse of two evils, elected on an empty platform with very scary behind the scenes power players. Give it time. You'll learn.

Forget about selling senate seats. Obama and to a lesser degree McCain ran their campaigns on the key note of "Change." Thanks to the Bush administration and the soon to be Obama administration, the only thing left that most Americans will have is some loose change.
