Florida Mini meet??

I have seen more and more of us down hear in central florida I'll be bringing my SVX down here hopefully sometime in Jan or feb. We should organize a mini meet/cruise sometime during the spring. let me know what you all think.

I'm in Daytona Beach I have an apartment here and I'm attending college here.

I know of one guy in Orlando and another who I think goes to UCF but is from maimi? I'm not sure I've talked with them and they said they knew of others here too.

I know of one other who actually goes to my school, and there is another guy who I've seen around I left a note on his car but I don't think he cares too much about his SVX. It's had the same nasty dent in the left rear for about a year and a half or more now. Never heard from him.

I think this would be awesome! I am planning on bringing my SVX down here sometime around in the spring it all depends on money and such. We'll see, but I'm planning on putting in a hydra and having it tuned by Big Valley in Orlando (formerly in tampa)

If you find any more people from Florida or in Florida that would want to participate, tell them to check in here, so we can start getting some ideas rolling. I'd love to go to reading but it's right around when finals are for me and I can't see driving all the way up there for a weekend, especially if I have to be back for class on monday.

Edit: On another note I know that LAN and a few others are in our sunshine state somewhere so I think if we could get them involved it might shoot up...

gosh so fast... I don't even have my SVX here yet! I was talkin something like feb or later... but, how long you in pcola?

To plan out something later when my SVX will be down here, does anyone have any ideas of where we could meet? Probably central Florida would be the best since we are spanning from Tampa to Miami.

You guys missed a great Florida meet.

All We'll Drive meet was today. I was the only SVX except for one other one, anyone remember the one that was listed on craigslist, red, with the fake hood-scoops and other ricer-mods? FWD I think. He/She was there... owners looked like an older gentleman and his daughter.

I didn't go over and introduce myself as I seem to recall the owner getting flamed out on here for spending over $3k on a riced out FWD... But I couldn't remember fully.

I'm planning on going to midweek mayhem at palm beach international raceway tomorrow. I'll be the one with the pretty asian girl and the black lsi on drift-r's winding out to 7800 rpms.

I helped Orginize an Alcyone meet back in 2004, only had 4 XT's and 4 SVX's show up, but it was a fun little get-together... Mabey we should orginize one later this year?

On a side note, when I was in Jax last year I saw your car parked at your house. My friend, a member here on the board AvPPoW used to live around the corner from you on Jacona Dr. He isnt active here anymore, though he still does have a 5 speed SVX sitting in his garage in Jacksonville

I'd be down to go north or south either to Jax or to miami. It's a hell of a lot closer than reading. I'm prob not going to drive my SVX down here until July or August though.

When I bring it down though I'll have the hydra as well as my 5spd and exhaust n such :) and maybe more, we'll see. So if anyone is down for an end of summer cruise/meet I'd love to go. Especially if I got to see some built svx's. I've wanted to go to the All Wheel Drive meets around here but haven't had my svx and wanted to wait until then.

Can be done in a weekend if you have everything you need to get it done...
