Hey guys,

Its a little early, I know. But I know SickSubie is also going, I'm wondering who else from around here is, maybe we can make a posse? I think NJ is a little outta the way (Sorry 94SubieSVX), unless you want to drive up towards us first, I think you'll be taking a different route.

Anyone else interested? I just want to have a few people to get lost & break down WITH...:p

Craig

PS - Nov. 11th meet, coming soon to a Vermont near you! ;)

Hmmm...I'll be coming down from Ottawa, probably crossing the border at Ogdensburg, NY. Google Maps tells me to take I-81 to Scranton and then I-476 basically all the way to Morgantown. I'd be up for detouring a bit to meet up with a convoy.

Given how many people seem to be meeting up there, I'd be up for that. We just need to get the Mass guys too, and we could have a certified, rolling mini-meet! :p

I'll have to get an exact spot/exit and then google earth to get directions to you. Oh, and I plan on going Friday too, just to answer Dave's question... I wouldn't miss it for the world! You guys have time when you'd be in that neck of the woods? Probably early, if you wanted to leave later it would make more sense to go Thursday because its a long drive, and leaving late friday would cause a day to be missed, which is obviously UNACCEPTABLE!

When is this happening?? Cuz I have off from school Nov. 6, 8, 9th. Might be able to make an overnighter out of it, or even make it at all.

Details to come. Its going to be on a Sunday so Beefcake can hopefully make it, and the 8th to 11th is when 94SubieSVX told me he can make it, so we're looking to pull in a few more guys.

But the basic gist is a fun cruise up Rt.100 into VT.

Sounds good. If its only that far, perhaps some of the guys closer to here ( like SickSubie and others coming from Mass) could meet up closer? I think it'll be at least a 6hr drive for us, just off the top of my head, haven't even glanced at a map. So 2hrs isn't exactly the bulk of the trip...

OK, so I consulted with my map.

I81/476 in Scranton is about 5.5 hrs from me, in NH. So probably its really closer to 4.5-5... :)

So what time were you guys planning on being in Scranton? This way I can have an estimated leave time. Also, I'll probably be heading pretty close to Hartford on the way out, so anyone in CT, and certainly Mass is welcome to tag along.

It is 2:30AM I just finished my car for the auto-x and my brain is not firing on all cylinders so forgive a possible stupid question.

My route looks similar, perhaps we could get a motorcade going...

Yeah, it will add about 50 miles if you take this route through Scranton (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&geocode=16872132409950455638,41.382740,-75.664260&saddr=13+Manchester+Rd,+Amherst,+NH+03031&daddr=I-81+S+%4041.382740,+-75.664260+to:40.705628,-76.212158+to:reading,+PA&mra=dpe&mrcr=0&mrsp=2&sz=7&via=1,2&sll=41.95949,-73.33374&sspn=3.537115,7.382813&ie=UTF8&z=7).

I thought I posted here, but it must have been another thread...

We'll probably be leaving Scranton area around noon. If we need to wait an hour or so, let me know...

We can either take a direct route of about 2 hours? Or I can find a scenic fun route of about 3+ hours??

I'm open to the timing and the option for a trip extension. We should hear from Crazy_pilot first - he's got a few hours just to get to my place!

While <Centralia (http://www.offroaders.com/album/centralia/centralia.htm)> is a little off the path, it's kind of interesting from here. A guy I know passed through there and took some pictures <posted here (http://imageevent.com/sleepr56/2006centraliapa?n=0&z=3&c=3&x=0&m=16&w=0&p=0)>. It's an idea, whether it's a good one or not. ;)

We can shoot through Centralia. It will add about an hour to the direct route. If others don't want to take that detour, I know that area well and can help out with directions. So that gives 5 SVX's from Scranton down.

There are three other member's in Scranton (all with Pearly's)... I'll try to make sure they see this... Hmmm, what color is the other car from Syracuse?
