I am also a member of the "IsuzuWeb" (my other car is an Isuzu).

http://www.isuzuweb.org/

Club members receive a quarterly magazine but the are no membership dues at present, however this is likely to change in the future due to increasing printing costs.

It must also be noted that the club has been threatened with legal action by Isuzu Motors of America.

Thanks paddlesnz. Good info to have. Do you know on what grounds the company was filing suit? Interesting that they would want to file suit when there was no money involved. Some people (corporate attorneys) must just have too much time on their hands.

Here's another log to throw on the fire:

Back around 1988? while I was in the BMW Car Club, there was a big stink between them and BMW itself (specifically, BMWAG - the German parent corp., and BMWNA - BMW North America).
Please note the spacing or lack of spacing between letters in those names, because it was considered VERY IMPORTANT to BMW!
You see, for years the BMW Car Club of America had referred to itself in its logo, literature, etc. as the BMWCCA. This turned out to be a BIG NO-NO.
Now I could fill up some major bandwidth with the whole seamy story, but to make it a little shorter - the club was forced to change its official name, logo, etc. to the BMW CCA. Which was also referred to derogatively by some free-thinking independent members as the BMWspaceCCA.
Yes, BMW got completely BENT that the letters "CCA" were connected to "BMW"! Why, it might mean that the two were related!

So I can really believe that ANYTHING is possible when it comes to auto corporations and their watchdog legal teams.
