Does anyone know of a site with speaker install instructions or who can tell me. I already did my head unit, my 6 1/2's and now I'm adding the 6x9's but the problem with the 6x9's is they appear to be attatched more so than just by screws on the speaker itself. The cover seems to be screwed in or something. Any help would be appreciated. Eventually 10" subs will go in, but for now I want to add my 6X9's.

goes to this .PDF file:
David Carter has a site that gives you all of the speaker and head unit information that
you will need. Click on the link below to get to it. Good luck with your project.

Well, the site itself has information say, to be added, when it comes to all speaker replacement for the back end anyways. So more or less, it seems like no one has done this yet, I've disassembled like the whole back half of my car besides the cover of the trunk. I can't get the snaps to come out which hold the piece on. So I can't get to the screws. I'm trying to figure it out, but its a *****.

I replaced my rear speakers a couple of times now. First I removed the seat cushion. There should be a tab(photo1) by the floor. Pull on it and lift up on the seat. Remove the bottom seat. Next remove the 4 retaining screws/inserts(photo2). There should be one up top and one down on the floor for each side. Next pull on the side panels to remove them(photo3). Unplug the window controls and remove the panels. By removing these interior pieces it make it a lot easier to get the rear deck/shelf out. Next remove the 2 screws that hold the rear deck/panel in place(photo4). Pull up on the deck edge and work your way all the way across the opening just above the pass through opening into the trunk to release the fasteners holding it in place. Pull/slide the deck straight back towards you to remove it. You should now be able to access the speakers. I used a small 1/4" ratchet and a philips bit to remove the screws. You might have to enlarge the screw holes in the speakers to get the screws to line up with the holes in the rear deck. I had to with my Infinity's. I hope this helps.

It sounds like you're trying to get to them from the trunk? You need to go from inside the car.

The rear deck cover with the speaker grills has a couple of plastic clips that should pop off pretty easily. If you can't undo it by hand you should be able to get a flathead screwdriver under it.

Just go by the first attached pdf, it's a good one. If you do it too fast because of impatience, you'll regret it. I tried to speed things along and ended up cracking my speaker grills and it took forever to get replacements that aren't even in near as good of shape as the ones I broke.
