i am looking for a well kept "stock" 97 svx in as "new" a condition as i can find it in

the body doesnt have to be "perfect" (it will get a paint job), it does however need to be virtually rust free and mechanically sound

i will pay top dollar for the correct one

i also have my black 97 as well i am planning on keeping her but i will consider a trade plus cash if the right one comes along and you still want an svx

i recall a post about one in vt to be sold around now but i cant find the ad, that one would have been perfect for what i want to do.

pm me with any offers or questions

the car will appear stock, aside from a custom "hematite" (Black metallic)paintjob, it will look like it came from the factory, any modifications would be stealthed the rims will remain stock, possibly painted a darker color of grey, (like gunmetal) i may smooth some lines where the stock spoiler meets the trunk lid with fiberglass, and i might add a jdm steering wheel and folding rear view mirrors... i assure you it will not be an eyesore.

im basically looking for beauty in simplicity

i would rather have a very clean 100% stock car than one that is modified beyond recognition

anything i add will look like it belonged there or had always been there (like a 6 speed)

i dont believe in the overdone streetricer pimp car with the bajillion decals, 22'' spinners, rediculous body kits, crazy ass wings and stuff.... this will not nook like a reject from fast n furious franchise i assure you. this will be tastefully done...

..think less "pimp my ride" and more "unique whips" (without the chrome and useless tvs and junk everywhere)

im looking along the lines of 10-15 years from now, my car being the prime example of what an svx should be

There is a 1996 (purchased in 1997) Ebony in Apopka, Florida (Orlando area) with 88,000 miles for $3,995. The CarFax says one owner, serviced by same dealer, always a central Florida car. Must have sold at dealer's auction, now at another dealer.

Why 97 specifically? All you'd need would be the grille.

Why 97 specifically? All you'd need would be the grille.

In the long run a 97 will hold it's value longer due to the rarity of the car. That could be one reason to seek a 97.

yes the 600ish production run is a large part of why i seek a 97...

also it is the last year of production.

i also own #321 of the 97's

im going to be putting the red one aside in exchange for a lower milage model.. (i plan to have her still under 100k by the time my newborn son learns to drive)

i swear if i find the right car, it will be kept "barrett jackson" perfect.
