Thats right, I am looking for a car that I will be able to enter into the Reading 9 meet raffle. Since it will be given away, price goes a long way. Also, If you know of any in your area, let me know. A full car donation would be HUGE! but I am not expecting that of anyone. Thanks for you attention and maybe your cars;)

look at the guy in NYC selling two for 1500. One with a bad tranny and the other with a bad motor.

What about a few of us getting together and putting the money up? I'd be along for something like that, donate a couple hundred or something.

that would be great but to be honest i think it would be asking too much

buy the 2 cars and fix one up to sell and sell it for enough to fund some repairs on the other car (which would make car #2 free). :D

this isn't for my personal gain... its a network fundraiser that will come into form next year... I am just trying to get a head start

I was impressed with the fund raiser this year. It was not only fun, but did raise some money for the network that will make this a much better place. :) :)

hmm...Alot of group effort, cooperation, and someone willing to go on a road trip could probly get the 60k mile silver Mike linked back on the road, and ready for raffle. Im dead serious on this too...If anyone wants to pick it up and get it on this side of the country, Ill donate the glass, and any interior peices if need be. I have sevral connections to properly remove and reinstall the glass, as well as for repainting the hood and fender, which I might also supply

i have a bead on a good chasis that needs a motor and tranny... Simpler and cheaper to go this route... I would like to see that car back on the road but it is out of the question for a car that will be given away...

Not right now, but in a little bit I'd be up for putting some money towards a car. I'm living on credit right now, but my tax return should be in the mail ($2300+), and I'm finally into a solid job. If/when this starts rolling I'd definitely be in for helping out.

I won't be buying any tickets though, I have nowhere to keep a second car.

I am not looking for donations to help buy the car... I am just looking for people to save that money for buying raffle tickets... I will begin the selling of tickets online 1 week before the meet for people who don't think they will be able to make it. I will then stop bidding via wireless internet 10 minutes before we start the drawing... Like I said... just getting the gears in motion right now
