Yeah I searched before I made the thread. My front left speaker bit the dust today, and I was wondering if I replaced the fronts with these http://www.crutchfield.com/S-fxAzQjrnOMI/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=52000&I=065S65RC will I need any kind of wiring adapter or is it just like a home stereo speaker that has 2 wires going to it. Also are there any how-to on removing the door panels.

If you are going to replace the door speakers, aftermarket speaker brackets that fit are hard to come by. The factory speakers come welded to the mounting bracket. Your best bet is to drill the welds out to fit the new speaker into. You should find that the new speakers will fit perfectly in the factory brackets.

As far as a harness goes, I BELIEVE you can use the ones that fit the Legacy. I seem to remember them being identical.

Good luck!

Thanks for the responses everyone. I replaced all 4 speakers in about 2 hours. Went a lot better/faster than I anticipated.
