The motor on my driver’s side seatbelt finally died so I am going to convert the auto seatbelts to manual. I have seen multiple posts on this conversion and it looks relatively simple. I was wondering what parts I would need. I found the manual seatbelt assembly (http://www.subaruparts.com/diag/?model=2A&year=1995&style=4WD&body=&scn=6&category=645-1) and I was wondering what trim parts I would need to buy. In a previous post it mentioned carpet to cover the hole where the old seatbelt was. Any help would be appreciated. Photos would be even better.

Yeah, the guy you need to talk to is Nubs.

He says he doesn't get on the site much anymore so I just copied his PM to me for you.

Hope this helps.

Hi Ira, sorry for not repying sooner, I don't get on here to much anymore. To do the conversion right you need to have accsess to a 94 or above parts car with the same interior color to get everything you need.
You will need the belts, including all of the mounting hardware. You will also need to exchange the carpet and the trim pieces where the track used to be. You also need the mount for the passenger side grab handle, as it is different also. If you can find all of the pieces needed, it is not really hard to do. Everything uses the same mounting points as the auto belts.
You just need to make sure you have all of the pieces.
If I can be of any further assistance I would be glad to help.

Thanks, I was able to crank the belt back and at least it is functional now - at least buys me some time to collect the parts for the conversion.
