Is the awd in the svx vaccum opperated or is it electrical? because i figured out that its not my selinoid c that is bad....i know the pcv valve is bad would that have any affect on the awd?.....svx burns out pretty good:eek: haha

Sounds like the clutches are shot.:(

thats alright....how hard is it to change the transfer clutches?

It's not easy, and I wouldn't reccomend it for someone without experience. I'm curious to know how you decided the solenoid C was not at fault

I expect you know if the tires are lighting up, the transmission clutches are having a warm time too?

i figured out that it wasnt the solenoid C because the fwd fuse works i geuss ill be calling my uncle in a little while and see what he has to say

some cases the Sol. C. mechanically sticks even though the electrical part may work fine.

k then i dont know how your are suposto know the difference if its clutches or the selenoid

If installing the fuse results in only FWD and with no problems, it is VERY unlikely that solenoid C is faulty.
