Screwed up reading ECU code

Hi,

Here's what I did. Trying to read ECU code with the diag blue wire, I inserted it in the wrong connector (see picture below).

So now, no ID lights up anymore (abs, power, check engine, current speed selector) ... Looked for a blown fuse, no chance.

Is somebody can tell me what I broke and how to repair it :confused:

It will be a blown fuse, somewhere. Either in the panel inside the car, or the underhood one. Don't know which, but the ECU system is well protected against shorts.:)

You sate that you looked for a blown fuse but I gather with no luck. I would judge you to have the ability to have you looked at all fuses both inside the car and in the engine bay.

Can you be more specific regarding the connections you made in error and here wire colour codes would help.

You could have induced an extraneous voltage which may have caused damage without opening a fuse link. In any event the relatively high rupturing capacity fuses in the supply circuit, will not adequately protect circuits within the closed ECU network.

ok ... let's forget this thread ... It was all my fault, I gave a second look to all fuses and finally found a blown one. Probably missed it the first time:o
