If your 'powers-that-be', promise to cut down on the unemployment in your area by building prisons there, FIRE THE BUMMM!!!
I just watched more cops than I had ever seen on the streets of Cumberland for any reason, show up in front of my house after MIDNIGHT on a monday to grab a guy on foot..
Since the prisons opened, we have watched a steady flow of 'big city' riff-raff follow 'daddy' here ( He's in leg irons), and they carry the welfare check, HUD vouchers, and DRUGS in.
Kids that I watched grow up stopped growing, because they met the 'big city' kids and DIED with a needle in their arm.. The new 'friend' can't let them just lay there, so they drop them into a santi-pot or available parked pick-up bed!
On the plus side, now that our population has swelled, there is more money available to fix the roads, so anyone that doesn't have GUNS or GOOD FENCES can do 100 MPH abandoning the place of their birth to the druggies, thugs and criminals!!
This city made the "TOP 10 BEST places to live" about 10 years ago. Now you need a 'piece' to walk your dog at night!!
