The Grumpy Girl (http://www.grumpy-girl.com/ggstart.htm) "Auto Bird Turd Emergency Kit," (http://www.grumpy-girl.com/frames/ggframekit.htm) reviewed in the New York Times (http://www.nytimes.com/2006/10/29/business/yourmoney/29goods.html), contains, in a heat-resistant plastic case: a water spray bottle and windshield cleaner (to loosen and clean),
shop towels (to wipe up the mess),
plastic ziploc bags (to store trash until it can be properly disposed of),
auto cleaner wax (to better clean and protect the attacked area),
microfiber sponge & towel (to apply the wax), and
antibacterial hand wipes (to restore that clean, fresh feeling to your hands).
The kit costs about $30, or you could assemble those contents yourself to make your own kit. I haven't tried the kit myself, but I thought the combination of humor and practicality made it worth a mention.
