I bet it's almost as good as my ram air idea! The only problem is where does the electricity to power it come from?

A few months ago JMAR was talking about Electric Superchargers on the Yahoo site. With some heavy duty batteries they would give a good amount of boost for about 8 seconds, every few minutes. Not good enough for me. I'd want boost at least for 16 seconds (an SVX 1/4 mile). Besides the batteries probably weigh more than all the parts, piping, etc for a turbo, nitrous, blower, etc.
